The bleak walls of the hospital hallway came into view when stepping out of the spotless elevator. Dream's worn-out shoes squeaking against the slippery gray floor.
Dream speedran down the hallway towards room 420, the room were George was; George was worth everything to Dream.
After a couple of seconds, Dream found George's room. He knocked on the door twice and heard a faint 'come in'.
Dream slightly opened the door and there on the bed was George sitting up in bed watching the TV mounted on the wall Infront of him.
Tears began to run downs Dream's face seeing George for the first time in days after thinking he killed him.
"You're ok!" Dream exclaimed
"Yeah, I'm doing better" George said smiling slightly
"I just wanna say that I'm sorry!" Dream said quietly, "I feel so bad for what I did. I don't know what I was thinking-" Dream's rant was cut off by George
"Dream it's ok, I know your sorry" George comforting
"Yeah, but nothing will make up for what I did to you!" Dream argued
"It's not your fault, I got in the way to defend Sap" George said looking into Dream's eyes
"Atleast let me pay for the hospital bills" Dream said sternly
"Dream, no don't do that!"
"It's the least I can do!" Dream said rubbing the back of George's hand
"I know your a simp, but no" George joked seriously
"I'm not a simp, but I'm still paying" He demanded
"Can I convince you otherwise?" George asked curiously, giving Dream puppy eyes
"You're cute and all, but you can't convince me" Dream said chuckling
"Fine, ya big 'ol simp" George joked, giggling as he did so
"How are you feeling?" Dream asked him
"My head hurts a bit and I'm a little sore, but not too much pain" George whined
"I hope you feel better soon, I'm really sorry!" Dream apologized again
"Thanks" George said smiling, red blooming over his face rapidly
"Again I'm so sorr-" "Stop apologizing, I get it"
Both of them laughed and Dream's laugh soon turned into a wheeze causing George to laugh even harder. Both of them completely forgot about the fact Sapnap, Bad, Niki, and Wilbur were coming to the hospital for a bit to visit.
The door opened to see Dream sitting on the bed where George was and then both laughing uncontrollably.
"What's so funny?" Sapnap asked confused, laughing slightly
"D-Dream is b-being a huge simp" George said through giggles
"Isn't he always?" Bad asked curiously
"Hey!" Dream mocked being offended, everyone laughing
"You doing alright, George?" Wilbur asked
"Yeah, I'm not doing too bad" George confessed, "Dream's made it fun!" He said blushing heavily
"I'm glad both of you are doing better" Niki said happily
"Both?" George asked, tilting his head to the side in confusion
"Oh, uhm- it's nothing!" Dream dismissed
"Dream, you wouldn't even come out of your room and you stopped taking care of yourself entirely. You could be dead right now if it wasn't for Niki" Sapnap said seriously
"He what?!" George yelled
"Don't scold me" Dream whined
"You need to take care of yourself, Dream!" George scolded him
"I-I'm sorry, I just really missed you!" Dream sobbed out
"Y-you missed me?" George asked curiously, blushing even more so than before
"Of course I did, you're my best friend" Dream said smiling
"I thought I was you're best friend?" Sapnap mocked hurt
"You've got two boyfriends, you'll be fine!" Dream dismissed, waving his hand to shove him off
"George, you mean a lot to me and you're surprised that I'd be depressed when I thought that I killed you!" Dream sassed
"I mean a lot to you?" George teased smirking at Dream
"You're such an idiot" Dream wheezed
"I'm your idiot?" George asked
"Always have been" Dream said smiling
"Are y'all dating or not?" Sapnap asked somewhat seriously
"No, we're just friends" Dream said trying to coverup the pain in his voice saying those words
