Present time

Wonju City, Gangwon

It seems like the weather can really sense Sana's emotions. The skies continue to cry as the sun shyly peeks from the dark clouds. She doesn't mind though, rainy is her favorite weather and she is prepared for it. She's wearing an expensive designer coat, nice woven pair of gloves and leather heeled boots, very different from those raggedy-like with holes and patches that she's used to back when she has nothing... when she was just a lonely orphan.

Mr. Kim handed her an umbrella as he continues to embark her luggage at the back of his black sedan car. His squared eyeglasses that are resting in his pointy nose is now full of fog, he then paused for a second to wipe them and then look down at his drenched leather shoes that he polished for about half an hour . Sana dared to look at her own soaking boots before hopping at the passenger seat.

Before Mr. Kim starts the car he turns to the her side and said "It's a long ride. Rest when you can." he has a worried tone but Sana can also sense guilt in him too. He took good care of her ever since Mr. Minatozaki died and now they've become too familiar of each other. She nodded at him before looking out the windows." Putting my life in danger is the last thing he would want, but there's no backing out now" she quietly thought.

After a few cloudy dreams, Sana woke up with a heavy pat on her shoulders. As she opens her eyes she noticed that the rain has stopped and the clouds are clearer than before. Sana didn't feel the route of their vehicle on the way but it seems like their now in a middle of an upward ridge. After a few more sharp drifts and turns around the mountain Mr. Kim finally announce "We're here Sana-shi." She looks up and saw a giant wrought iron gate that is already opened and as she looks afar the metal gates continues to extend to both right and left, securing the whole highlands.

Both Mr. Kim and her are very attendant to their surroundings as they enter. A tall water tank with the caption "Welcome to Sonam High" welcomes us as we drive in. At first all they can see are pine trees just like what's covering the rest of the woods outside the gates but after a 5 more minute drive they have reach a small rural community inside the school's campus.

As they continue to drive different establishments began to appear. They passed by a small clinic, convenience stores, a couple of shops and other constant things you can see in a small neighborhood. Sonam High is like a small town but it almost has everything that you need. Most of the stores are open but there were only few people around and the silence is starting to get deafening.

"It's Sunday. Most of the students go down the mountain on weekends and go to the main cities, others go to church but I think most students are indoors doing homework." Mr. Kim blurted as he have noticed Sana's wearisome.

As they approach the center, they are mesmerize by an enormous ivory edifice. It is made of white fine marbles with large pillars, similar to the ones in Greece. In the middle they are greeted by a huge round marble fountain, made to match the building at its front.

"This place sure is something." Sana babbles.

"It doesn't look archaic. It must have cost them a fortune to have this structured." Mr. Kim exclaimed. He goes around the fountain trying to get a good look of the marble building.

"It's the library." he whispered. He's fascinated and from the looks of it he might drool. Mr. Kim Hyun Bin is a lawyer who loves to bury his nose in books and a huge fan of history. This library must be heaven for him.

When we drive around the glamorous fountain Sana saw a glimpse of Sonam High. A Hogwarts like red-bricked castle facade, standing proud at the right wing of the town. It's beautiful and intimidating at the same time. Even though she wants to deny to herself that she's engross, her eyes follows the facade of the school up to its shadows. It captivated her. When she was a child all she wanted was to get a chance to attend school, but now she's got more than that. Sana can't believe that she's in a private institution inside a secluded town on top of a mountain, clearly established to focus and groom their intelligent and rich students in their studies and specialties.
