After a long day cracking a case at the BAU, Dr. Spencer Reid and Agent Derek Morgan decide to celebrate with drinks.
As they approach the bar, Reid questions whether to go in or not.
"You know, maybe this was a bad idea." Reid said to Morgan, looking at all the drunks stumbling out of the bar and laughing.
"Come on, loosen up kid. It will be fun." Morgan reassured him. Morgan was used to going to bars, with his playboy personality he had no trouble fitting in there and going home with girls.
Reid on the other hand; IQ of 187, eidetic memory, and being able to read 20,000 words per minute, had very little experience in this department.
"Don't make me drag you." Derek teased. He tends to do that a lot.
Without a second thought, Reid followed Morgan into the bar. It was so crowded, they had to push their way through to get to the actual bar. When they finally got through all the drunk partiers, they sat down and leaned against the table.
"Two shots of tequila." Morgan said to the bar tender.
"Tequila? I don't drink tequila." Reid said, looking around the bar and examining everyone.
"Well tonight you do." Morgan said. "You deserve it after that successful case. You had a gun pointed at you and you still managed to handcuff him without either of you getting hurt. Now that takes some serious skill." Morgan picked up one of the shot glasses that were just set down.
"Thanks." Reid said and picked up the other and clinked glasses with Morgan. They both took the shot and put the glass down.
"Wooo." Morgan and Reid both exclaimed.
"I forgot how strong that stuff is." Reid was still recovering.
Morgan laughed and turned to the bar tender. "Another round please."
"I actually think I should go." Reid said.
"What? Why?"
"I um, wanted to see the last half of the Russian film I was talking about. The Postman's White Knights, it just recently came out and it's about-" Reid was about to start his rant of information no one could understand but himself.
Morgan stopped him. "Alright that's enough info for me. Go ahead. Just don't let me catch you hooking up with someone in the bathroom on my way out,
pretty boy." Morgan chuckled.Reid smiled and started to walk out the door until he bumped into someone.
"Sorry." Reid looked at the person he had bumped into. She was a beautiful young lady with dark brown hair. She looked a little shy, like she was out of place just like Reid.
"It's no problem. I should've been looking at where I was going." She let out a nervous giggle and tucked a lock of hair behind her ear.
Reid smiled and nodded then awkwardly continued to walk out of the bar.
The girl walked up and sat in the seat Reid had left. She immediately drew Morgan's attention.
"Well hello there gorgeous." Morgan flirted. "Drink? It's on me."
The girl looked up at him and nodded. "Sure." She picked up the shot glass the bar tender handed to her. She cutely smiled and then drank it with Morgan.
"So are you from around here?" Morgan started a conversation.
"Just moved. I don't really know anyone yet." She said.
"Well you can get to know me." Morgan gave her a flirty smile.
She matched his smile and then looked down.
Morgan looked over at her bag. "That's a really cool purse. What material is it?" He didn't say that to start conversation this time, he said it because he meant it.
"Uh I'm not sure. You can feel it if you want." She said and swung it over to the other side of her hip so he could feel.
"Huh I don't know. It's cool though, I like it." He smiled at her. "So another round?" Morgan offered.
"Sure, why not." She said.
Morgan nodded at the bar tender who brought over another round.
They both took another shot. "So what's your name?" Morgan asked.
"You first." She said.
"Derek. Now what's yours?"
"I guess you'll never know." She said mysteriously and got up.
"Woah where are you going? You're just going to leave me like that?" Morgan asked. "At least give me your number."
"Oh okay, fine." She said and wrote it down on a piece of paper and gave it to Morgan.
She smiled and tucked another strand of hair behind her ear. She picked up her bag and walked out.
Morgan looked down at her hips at she walked away and watched them sway from side to side. He smirked and then looked down.
A few minutes later, Reid walked back up to Morgan.
"What are you still doing here?" Morgan asked.
"The film is actually showing a different night. I mixed up the dates." Reid explained.
"How about another round?" Morgan asked.
"I think you've had enough." Reid said. "How about I drive you home."
"I forgot what a buzzkill you are." Morgan joked.
They both started to walk out until Reid got a call. His phone read Penelope Garcia. She's the technical person of the team who knows everything there is to know about computers. She also styles herself with bright, colorful clothes to distract herself from the hard times they go through as FBI agents.
"Hi Garcia." Reid answered.
"Thank god, I've been calling you." Garcia said in a panicked voice.
"What is it? What's going on?" Reid could tell based on the tone of her voice something was wrong.
"Is Derek with you?" She asked.
Reid looked over at Derek and their eyes met. "Yeah he's with me."
"Oh my gosh. Please tell me you guys aren't at the bar you guys were saying you were going to."
"Um, I can't exactly tell you that." Reid gulped. It was silent and Morgan looked at Reid, wondering what was going on. "Garcia, tell me what's going on."
Reid waited for a response. He could almost hear the stress from the other line. Garcia finally responded with: "There's been a dead body reported right outside the bar you're in right now."
