CHAPTER-23

'Who left that storeroom open? Is someone there?' Mrs. Min shouts for the guard.

'Yes, lady?' The guard replies.

'Lock that door and set the dogs loose' She orders.

The guard does as he's told to. He locked the door and loosened the dogs free.

After a while a dog started barking when he saw someone's presence in the storeroom, once again catching everyone's attention.

'What the hell happened now?'
JK complains making a crying face.

"I don't know... Nothing" You answer as you're the one sitting near the window.

'Something's wrong' Your father stands up, and walks straight to the window.

'Why is that dog barking so much? Look if a thief in there! Take a look' He yells at the guard.

And there's Tae with his bad luck. When he was trying his best to run away, the dogs came right infront of his way.

"A family of dogs!" He says gulping and starts running back from where he came from.

And just as before, he found a most suitable place to hide in a tree. But, this time instead of Park's family, it's Min family's guards standing under him.

Jimin is trying his best to make the dog go away who was sitting at the door as a rock and having a staring contest with him.

You come to Jimin when you found a chance to escape from the eyes of your family, and make the dog go away and quickly open the lock, letting Jimin out but he's unwilling to come out which frustrated you.

The branch, on which Tae was standing and hiding, broke and he fell into the same vessel of adhesive, he's fascinated with earlier. He somehow comes out from it covered in all adhesive and now tripped into the bunch of dried leaves.

'Listen...there seems to be someone behind those leaves'
One of the guards says flashing light over there. And just then Tae pops out from that exactly looking like a ghost covered in all leaves, which scared the hell out of the guards.

'Ghost! Run, soon!' They ran away. Tae also flees from there but in the wrong direction and straight in the eyes of J-hope.

"Over there! Get him!" J-hope points towards Tae.

"Freeze! Or I'll make seive out of you" Jk says aiming his gun at him.

"Scoundrel! Thief! You came to steal? Is this your father's house?" They grab him and bombarded him with questions.

"I wasn't here to steal, I swear! My name is Taehyung. I had come to take the notebook from Y/n"

"Notebook? You jump a wall for that?"

"I didn't want to disturb you. So I jumped over the wall."

"Shut up! He's a real thief! Look at his eyes" Mrs. Min says.

"That's how they've always been! My whole family has eyes like mine! I swear" Tae says.

"Don't let him go. Hand him over to the police"

"Call Y/n here. Then hand me over to the police, the navy, the air force-" Tae says but got cut off.

"Shut your mouth!" JK says and calls for you.

And you came soon leaving Jimin back there.

"Yes? What happened?" You ask.

"Do you know this boy?"

"..."

You open your mouth but no answer came out. You're at lost of words as you literally don't know his name, so..

"Taehyung...Kim Taehyung. Roll no. 32" Tae gave you words.

"Oh yes, Taehyung. My class fellow" You answer.

"See? You believe me now? They were handing me over to the cops!" Tae says making a sad face.

"What for?" You ask.

"How would I know!"

"What for oppa? Why?" You ask J-hope.

"It's nothing. Go to bed!" J-hope says

"May I go Taehyung?" You ask Tae.

"Sure, go on! Thank you! I'd have been turned into a adhesive!" Tae says giggling.

"Shut up and get going or else you will be crushed" JK pushes him outside the gate.

"Come out, I'm saying that" You say angrily to Jimin who's still not coming out of that storeroom.

He comes out and crossed his arms.

"Y/n, I'm not leaving unless you say it to me"

"Listen to me, please..."

"Don't you want me to go away? Hurry up!"

"Please go away before anyone lands here!"

"Are you saying it or not?" Jimin says leaning at the door.

"Jimin, please!"

"Alright, I'm staying put then" he says and steps back , shutting the doors which you swiftly stopped from closing.

"Very well, I'll say it" You shout but in a low voice and he opens the door.

"I don't just love you, Jimin...you mean the life to me. You're my father's son-in-law and my grandma's grandson-in-law. Okay? Is that enough?"

You say being irritated with his stubbornness.

Jimin says nothing but smiles at you fondly being satisfied with your words. And to your surprise, he planted a quick kiss on your cheek and runs away leaving you frozen on the spot, all flustered.
