I never really fitted in, I was always different. Other girls would wear short skirts and have their hair perfect I never really was like that. Of course I tried to be like them but I never really felt like myself. I just felt like an empty shell of a human. Even my name was not girly. When I was little, I would spend hours on google trying to find girls who had the same name as me. All I would ever find was just men.
I never was lonely though, no matter what I always had my best friends Drew and Zoe. They also were homeschooled. I would spend all day with them, life was just so easy when you had your mom as a teacher. Of course that will all change tomorrow. My mom thought it would be a good idea for me to "get out of my comfort zone" and "meet new people".
I pleaded her to let me stay home as going to a public school was the lat thing on earth I would want to do.
She said Highland Park had the best schools in LA but I can disagree. People are rotten in school. Do one wrong things and you will always be reminded of it.
It was already midnight, I couldn't get any sleep. So, I decided to work on one of my songs, by the time I finished for the night it was already 4:00 am, fuck.
I did not get any sleep that night so I was pretty shot at school.
When I came out of my bedroom my mom created me.
"It's your big day Billie!"
"Woohoo" I muttered
I grabbed a apple and my backpack and kissed my dog pepper before I left. While I was walking to school I got a text from Zoe.

Billie- hell no are you insane?! I death die then go
Zoe - you will be fine drama queen, Drew will be waiting for you at the school gates so be prepared to be embarrassed

Once I actually got to school I saw Drew. She was holdup a huge sign it's said
"HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL BILL"
I was mortified. I put my hood up and walked past her hoping she wouldn't see me but of corse, she did.
"Hey why are you in such a hurry to get past me nerd" she laughed
"Drew sometimes I don't know how I'm friends with you" I chuckled
When I walked into first period I was 5 minutes late because I forgot my map at home so I had gotten lost .
"Oh class! This is Billie she is going to be joining us"
Oh, great. They have to acknowledge everyone that I am here.
"Why does her hair look like grass"
The whole class started to laugh.
I saw an empty desk in the back so I just put my hood up and went back there. I herd a small voice come from my left.
"Hey, your hair is cool and that guy is a jerk, don't worry about him."
