One bullet is all it took to rip me to shreads. Sitting in a bloody mess my heart with a forever black hole.

5 minutes earlier
I bolted out of the darkness. Sweat dripped down my face. A dream. That was all it was. A dream. My breath began to slow and return to a normal pace as I  regained my conscience.

BANG the door bolted open and in fell in drunk Jack as a sudden reminder of my life. Mum followed though something was wrong. Her usually flawless make up was smudged up reveling her pale white skin underneath and her usually warm blue eyes were now cold as ice staring into mine.

Before I could take a step to get Jack of the floor anougher person stepped into the dim light of my small apartment home. A man. He stood tall and well built. Dressed fully in black. All I could see where his eyes.

Eyes  normally reveal all a person secrets is you know where to look. His held nothing. Internal emptiness Like pearls of darkness.

My eyes quicky dashed down to a "W-what" a gun! We stood in silence for second. One last peaceful second before the gun raised to ME! My body froze as if turned to ice in a second. Paralyzed to stone. Forced to watch as a small piece of metal stole my life.

All it took was one bullet. Only one.           "N-no please"  I begged the strange man stood before me. Looking for a slither of humanity left in his broken soul. Nothing...

Tears ran down my face like a stream trickling through a field. So peaceful yet full of memories.

BANG! The loud sound of death took over the apartment like nuclear bomb ending a war yet taking lives with it.

Humans are tricky animals. Full of surprises. Some are filled with darkness, stories of betrayal and horrors another one could never imagine. Some filled with light , happiness and hope. The only problem is you can't tell witch one a human truly is till there last moments.

No pain nothing. A bullet yet no pain. No blood had been spilt well at least not mine yet. Jack.  He had jumped infront of me like a super hero. His blood spilled on the floor as his eyes closed for the last time. The life snatched from his heart in the matter of seconds.

BANG! Again. My body still paralyzed watched as my mum fell  to the hardwood ground. Her life playing in slow motion in my mind for her last seconds so I could see her just a second more.

I fell to the ground. Tears fell down till no more could fall as I begged for my family's return. The man had run as the police sirens sang in the distance like a tune of death.

Screaming the warm blood swan around me drenching me in forever pain.

10th June 2021 the day my life ended as I new if and darkness took over
But that's the thing about darkness it leaves space for a new light.

A pair of hands wrapped around my arms trying to pry me from the red scene. It was the cops. Cop to be precise. Dragging me outside despite all my efforts. Seeing my mum and jack for the last time.

They placed me in a car and drove me to the police station. Numbness creeping in my heart as I watched the cars go bye like every other day.
