2 : Will.

Peace. Serenity. Contentment.

It was 6:45am in the morning and the three things Afeefa was feeling were these. Relaxed. Satisfied. At peace.

It wasn't like this from the beginning though, to feel motivated enough to conquer the world. She had gone through days when even thinking that she existed was a real struggle. But it was all in the past now.

They say that time is the best healing medicine. She also healed.

Sitting down on the prayer mat, she thanked the God for every good thing in her life , asked forgiveness for every sin and prayed to the lord to give her a good life. Afterall, everyone deserved it. A good life. She wasn't gonna let anything or anyone destroy her chances of having one. Not even her herself. Not again.

They say that|there are seeds of self destruction in all of us that will bear only unhappiness if allowed to grow|. They are right. But no matter how hard we try, not all seeds can be suppressed from growing. Some seeds turn into trees who then, have to be ripped off from the roots to let one live in peace. No way in hell was she gonna go through that again. Never.

And believe me my dear readers, when they said that ignorance is bliss, they were hella right.

Ah! blessed be the unknown turns and twists of life, for that's what makes it worth living.

Btw, when I wrote that we all deserve a good life, I really meant it. No matter what has happened in the past or what is happening right now, you deserve a good life and all the love in this world (as long as you try to be the best version of yourself in the right way) 💕
