It's now one month ago since Damiano kissed me. And it has been a wild month...

"Are you awake?" His voice was dark and tired.
"Yeah..."
I have lived with him during this month and haven't even talked to my parents yet. Damiano lives in a small apartment on the second floor in an old but actually really beautiful apartment. Each day Damiano goes out and practice or write songs with his band but I just tend to stay home as much as possible. It's hard to go out just because of all the memories that comes back when I see my town. But last night Damiano insisted that I would follow him out the next day.
He make breakfast for me every morning and it's our little tradition to always eat it in the bed together before doing anything else.
"Laura what's wrong?" He had the same worried voice like every morning.
And I always has the same answer, "I'm not hungry."
I love the mornings, just sitting there with him by my side is all I need, not some scrambled eggs or a sandwich.
"Okay you know what you promised me last night!? You have to get out of this place so I have planned a small trip for the two of us." He looked at me with a excited look.
"Yeah I know..." I just wanted to sit there for the rest of the day.
But Damiano insisted and from what I know there isn't even worth a try to get him to change his mind.

"Wow you look amazing!"
For the first time in months I had put on a nice outfit and not just a hoodie.
"Thank you" I blushed.
"Laura come" he held out his hand and I took it with a steady grip.

After drivning for awhile I noticed that we came closer and closer to my parents house.
"What are we doing here!"
"I'm sorry but you have to talk to your parents. I understand that you don't want too because of everything that have happened but I believe that you need too talk to them too be able to go on with your life."
I don't think I have ever been this angry at anyone, how can he do this to me?!
It didn't take long until we pulled up on my parents driveway. As soon as I stepped out of the car my sister came running out of the house and hugged me tight.
"I've missed you!" My sister was crying.
I just stood there looking over my sister's shoulder and to see my parents disappointed looks from the front porch.
"Laura why haven't you called?" My mother sounded angry.
"Why did you put me there in the first place?" I said angry back at her.
My sister let go of me and took a few steps back.
"We just did what we thought was best for you, you needed help and we couldn't give it to you."
"So putting me there against my will and then not even visit me was the the best for me? You didn't think that I needed my family's support? It's not like I will quit drinking and then just be a happier person! Grandma isn't going to wake up from the dead just because I don't drink! I hate you!" My tears were falling down my face.
"I'm sorry we didn't visit you, we just had a lot going on and didn't had the time..." my mom was now crying too.
"You didn't have the time for your own daughter! Yeah sure!.." I took Damiano's hand and dragged him back to the car to then force him to drive away.

"Why did you do this to me?" I was still crying.
Damiano stopped the car and hugged me but I pushed him away.
"I thought you guys could talk and build up a good relationship again, like you have told me you had before. But apparently it wasn't as easy as I thought."
He hugged me again and this time I hugged him back.
"I just want you to have a good relationship with your parents because I can tell that you miss them"
I looked at him. "But you are the only family I need, Damiano you are the only one that will ever understand me."
