13 [What Just Happened?]

[A/N: bit of a mini time jump in the middle]

I maybe made it half way from the factory when I started to think about if I should go and find this main power cord or to go and make sure Karl was alright because I really had a bad feeling about leaving.

I kept turning back and forth for about five minutes if not more trying to figure out what the hell to do about this, I know we had to finish off Miranda but I wasn't going to abandon Karl just to finish her off; the sounds of a storm came to my ears which made me look up seeing it was starting to rain and thunder a bit outside now.

The sounds of the gunfire was becoming very clear to me now and I knew what I had to do, before I started heading back to the factory I noticed I had a radio I think Chris gave it to me somehow but I wasn't going to question it right now.

"Redfield! If your there I'm heading back to the Factory!" I spoke into it once my feet started to walk back.

"Why?! I told you Heisenberg won't be killed I talked to Ethan and told him our deal" the voice of Chris came through the radio.

"That may be true but I have a bad feeling about something, I think Miranda will show up once their fighting is done" I said back in the radio following my guy feeling.

"How would you know that?" Chris asked me again.

"Because she wants this ritual to go without interruptions, I'll meet you outside on the east gate of the village" I said once more when my walking turned into a running now.

"Fine, we're getting things ready on our end once you get here" Chris said to me before the radio went silent on his end.

I put the radio away so that I could run faster back to the factory, my heart pounded in my chest not wanting anything bad to happen to Karl because Miranda will kill him if she finds out what he has been up to for years. I saw the factory go up in a bang taking everything with it; well that isn't going to make Karl happy at all I had to get there quickly.

Once I got closer to the backyard of the factory I saw a huge metal tornado coming out of nowhere, it had to be Karl and I could see Ethan up there as well flying around trying to dodge the metal scrapes that flew around him; I ran as fast as I could to get to their fight and end this before anything else but the sounds of another explosion caught my ears which made me snap my head towards the sound seeing that Karl's form was hit once again.

"NO!!" I screamed as I reached a piece of the gate that was opened, scratched myself on the small wires I didn't care.

The sight of Ethan standing up came to my green eyes once I came closer to the scrapes of metal scattered everywhere around us. I couldn't help myself once I saw him; I had to punch him which I did making him fall back down.

"How could you! Chris told you of the deal he and I made and yet you still.....you....still" I began shouting at Ethan as he stood up having my voice break a bit before I could finish.

"I'm sorry, but he was insane Angelica he wanted to use Rose an-" Ethan began to explain before I cut him off from speaking.

"If you would have just waited for me to talk to you both dumbasses!! I could have told you that I can also kill Miranda without hurting Rose!!!" I shouted with tears building in my eyes.

"What?" was all Ethan could say to me.

I wanted to say something more, but the sounds of metal moving caught both our attention letting out eyes look towards the pile of metal that was slowly morphing back for some reason.
