It was just another ordinary day to a girl with ordinary life. Nicky Jane Laurens is a senior in Southburg High in North Carolina. She was not well-known although she was a great person. She loves reading books and an avid musician who loves to play instruments especially piano. She's a member of the church choir, an active student and a book enthusiast.

My name is Nicky. Nicky Jane Laurens. I am a 17 years old teenage girl; one of the weird kids in school; invisible and not well-known. Maybe because of my looks qnd style. I'm not the typical teenage girl who wear make ups on my face or spend 14 hours shopping for clothes. And being on the popular list, you should be aware of your style. I've never been the kind of girl who doodled a guy's name on my notebook; imagining princes riding on a white horse; or dreaming about my once-upon-a-time fairytale story. I'm just.... me. The girl who loves spending time at the cafeteria or at the locker room reading new books by famous writers; Playing instruments or writing stories for drama club. But there is something with this club that changed my life. No, it's not changing me into something I'm not. Instead, it introduce me to the real world where a lot of things happened beyond of what we have expected. Where fate and destiny move to change your life forever. This is my story and I hope I can touch your heart...

I am heading into my room at the class IV-A located at the third floor of Southburg High building. As I walk, I saw people busy with thier own thing. Students are with their own kind if you know what I mean. Cheerleaders, nerds, mean girls, bullies, and of course, who could ever forget the hearthrobs and popular gruoups. One of the groups in our school is the "most pop" group. They are the complete pack of a product. They sometimes called as "the cullen family". If you are thinking they are the most popular among all the groups in our school.. Yes. You're right. It's members were highly prestigious. One of them is Lucas, the cool and the cutest as they describe. He's the most socialize member of their group. I mean, he talks to everyone but he never bothered to ask someone's name whoever you are. He was just... talkative. He's the quarterback of Southburg High's Growling Tigers. Savannah is one of them too. She is the captain of Southburg cheering squad. She is mean, yes. And she's Flirty too. Gosh If I can only tell you guys how many BF she had... Merry Anne, or whom they called M.A. Is the group leader. She is really mean. I call her "the mean witch". She is the daughter of Mr. Gregory Swan and Mrs. Linda Swan. One of North Carolina most daring dealers. She got a boyfriend which is Harry. Harry is the most popular guy in the school. Bad boy image, cool and taugh. He's an athlete, team captain of the basketball team, and bully. Then finally James, the dream guy of most female burgians. That's what we call ourselves in this school. Burgians. James is the exact boyfriend of M.A. They've been together for I think, three years.. They broke up with no reason. That's what the rumor is. James is the coolest among them. We've been schoolmates since middle school. But nope, we didn't get a chance to know each other. Not that I like him... Well, I don't really know.. Fairytales? Nah, I don't believe in it. But I love reading fairytales and romance. And that's something about me. I got a lot of secrets. Most in the world actually. Just kidding. James has been so mysterious ever since his last heart break. I mean, he became more serious and really broke. I don't know why he could take the pain everytime he's with his friends. I mean, M.A. and Harry are one of them. One time, when his friends were laughing sarcastically, he just smiled covering the pain behind. I know people will never notice me, coz

I think I belong in the loners. I'm usually alone even though there are hundreds of kids in school. I've got friends but I just love to be independent. I find James attractive. He's my type actually. I mean, everyone do have a secret crush right? But mine's different. I don't have any chance to meet him. And I'm not craving for it.

On break times, I usually found myselfat the cafeteria or qt the locker room reading with my books. Now I've got new one so I'm kinda busy being concious of my existence. I don't care if people treat me like I don't exist. I like being invisible either.
