Chapter 2

After History class, Rose's mind was rush as she walked out of the classroom. She couldn't keep herself calm. She could not believe Chad Danforth was her partner. The fact that she would working with him, sitting beside him, being close to him was just mind blowing! Walking out of the school doors, she spotted Shana outside talking with one of her classmates before they walked away. She immediately ran over to her side.

"Shana, I have to talk to you! You are not going to believe this!"

Shauna turned towards her and replied, "What?"

Rose took a deep breath before saying, "He's my History partner."

"Come again?" Shana was confused. She had the slightest clue what Rose was talking about."Who is your History partner?"

Sitting down beside her, Rose replied, "Chad Danforth."

Shana gave her an emotioness expression before suddenly bursting out in laughter.

"Yeah right, Rose. Chad Danforth is your History partner, and I am married to Will Smith. Girl, you gotta stop this obsession."

"It's true!'' She replied, hitting her on the arm. "Chad Danforth is my History partner! He sat next to me, talked to me." She sighed. "I think he like me."

"First of all," Shana began rubbing her arm. "Ow! And two, I still don't believe you."

''My old partner drop out of the class at the last minute. It was like I was completely shocked when he walked in! I would never thought...this was fate Shana. It was FATE! And he is the most intersting person I ever met. He's funny and smart-''

''You don't know that. It was your first day,'' Shana replied.

''I do, Shauna. I can feel it,'' Rose replied.

''No girl, That's your hormones.'' She replied.

''Shut up!'' Rose excliamed.

''So, with all this talk about your crush, are you going to ask me how did I do on my math quiz?''

''Oh yeah!'' Rose replied with a smile. She totally forgot about it.''How did you do?''

Shauna signed. ''oh..well, since you asked.I think I did great.''

''Really?'' Rose asked excited.

''Hell no! are you kidding?! I sucked.'' Shana excliamed.

'' Don't beat yourself up. I'm sure you did great. And besides, I pretty sure Ms. Johnson will let you retake the exam.'' At that moment, she and Shauna saw Taylor walking along with Gabriella Montenez. They looked at the two quickly before continuing their conversation, walking pass them down the hall without saying a word.

''Hm,I wonder if Chad told her yet that you were his history partner?'' Shauna asked.

''I doubt,'' Rose replied smiling. It's none of her business to be honest. whoa!'' She excliamed.

''Hey girl, are you okay holding those books?'' Shana asked.

''Yeah,'' Rose replied. ''I'm cool. I was on my way to put them in my locker.''
