AN- I was never really satisfied fully with that oneshot, so decided to remake it!

Loga quietly sighed, looking at his scarred self in the mirror. An eyepatch covering his right eye, scars lining his skin, mainly on his right side. His eyes were red from crying, sweat staining across his body. '... Heh, it never gets better, does it...'

He looked at his prosthetic leg, trying to stop his mind from racing... He began remembering the moments of war, fights... all the hell he had been through.

"... I never wanted this..." He quietly whispered, his eye shutting closed. He had never wanted to be a general, he had NEVER wanted any of this! ...

Was just how his life worked he supposes... He shook his head, trying to stop his mind from traveling... but unfortunately he felt himself getting sucked into the memories of how he became a shell of a man.

"Loga. Look at the envelope on the counter." He heard his mother say, being confused. "U-Um... ok..." He picked it up, and looked in it.
Then dropped it in complete shock, stepping back.

Dear Miss ___

We need all the help we can get, so your application for your son to join us in war has been accepted.
Feel proud, he will be protecting this nation now.

-The King's General

"W-W-Wha- Mom, I-" "ARE YOU ARGUING WITH ME?! YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY, YOU WILL FINALLY BE DOING SOMETHING THAT ISN'T A WASTE OF TIME, AND NOT JUST BEING DEAD WEIGHT!" He backed up, lightly shaking trying to stutter something out.

His father heard, running to them, trying to calm her down.
He hid and shook, trying to block out the horrid noises of her beating the hell out of his father for arguing with her.

There was no discussion, he was going no matter what.

He looked at the camp, feeling anxiety, but thinking at least he will be doing some good...

Mama, we all go to hell

He trained hard, watching people around him being beaten down when they did bad, making friends... no, brothers with them.

Mama, we all go to hell.

He wrote to her 3 times a month, only cause he knew she'd be mad if he didn't, but wrote everyday to his father.

I'm writing this letter and wishing you well.

He had his first battle, unable to sleep at night, hearing other shape's screams surrounding him.

Then, came the Battle of The South, where he found out what this war was really about. And where, he truly lost his self.

Mama, we all go to hell.

He ran through the fields, shooting at those who fired at him, avoiding the scrapnel.

Then... he felt something dig hard into his left shoulder.

Oh well now, Mama, we're all gonna die!

He let out a scream of pain, holding his arm seeing a bullet in his shoulder. He began running through the battleground to try and get away.
