Up until 'his' (dabi) execution date Temi tried to act as normal as possible which was hard since her world was falling apart. She also always put on a fake smile. It's not often at all when you see a genuine smile from her so she used to faking a smile. But right now it's particularly hard. Once his execution date arrived Temi was having the hardest time acting normal. Her friends caught on from the beginning especially shinsuke and hawks but they didn't push it. It was so hard for Temi she even skipped school. She was watching the news and crying. When school was out her friends didn't even bother stopping at their dorms they just went straight to Temi's. Hawks was also having a hard time hiding it. Especially since many of his sidekicks and other workers in his agency were constantly talking about it. He knew for a fact Temi was having a hard time since he played a big part in her life. You could tell hawks wasn't at his 100% today just by being around him. His presence (or is it aura idrk but oh well you know what I mean) was not a happy, laid back and over normal. It was more gloomy and sad because he was sad. Rumi aka mirko his long time best friend could tell the most. She's known him for so long that she'll notice the slightest change and today she definitely noticed. She just didn't have time to ask him about it because he left on patrol and she went to her own agency. While hawks was on patrol he was stuck in thought.

Hawks POV (finally a POV switch. I do and don't like writing in narrator/ 3 point of view I like writing in a character point of view because it's just overall easier for me)

"He's really gone isn't he" I mumble slightly out loud.( I thought out loud was one word but autocorrect said otherwise).

Flashback :) bet you weren't expecting that.

( this is how they met btw ask hawks is 9 dabi is 10)

"Hey you with the white hair and red hair." I say to the boy that's sitting up against a tree a little bit away from me but he doesn't reply.

( also this is when touya hair turned white so now it's only a little red)

"Hey I know you here me." I say whilst walking closer to him and poke his shoulder.
"M-me?" He finally reply.
"Yes your the only one here other than me." I say while waving my hand across the air showing him that nobody else is here hence we are in the woods.
"What do you want?" He asks. I stare at him for a second looking for a answer that I didn't have because I don't know why I started talking to him.
"Idk really but want to be friends?" I asked excitedly.
"No" he simply replied.
"Well why not."
"I don't even know your name and why are you even here?"
"Well my name is keigo but your supposed to call me hawks and I came from hero training." I reply happily mumbling the part mentioning hawks.
"Why are you here?" I ask now curious.
"To ditch "training"
"See our friendship was destined because we already have something in common." I say.
"Well what's your name?" I ask
"Touya." He says in a bored voice.
"Well I have to go touya. See you tomorrow?" I say and ask at the same time.
"Yeah sure." He replies.
"Ok bye friend I enjoyed our talk." I say before standing up to leave. It could've been me but I swear I saw a tiny of pink on his cheeks and I heard a soft mumbled same. With that I happily left. Pretty much everyday after thag day we would meet up in the same place around the same time. Sometimes he would come with slight burn but I would also have a few cuts or something so I just brushed it off as training side effects.
