"Breathe..." Taehyung muttered to himself. He had woken up in the middle of the night panting slightly.
"Jesus, am I crying?" Taehyung touched his face, feeling the remnants of his tears sticking to his face.
He gently pulled the curtains aside and opened his glass window, the gentle soothing breeze of the night calming him down. The night sky was pitch black except for the moon in the sky.
Taehyung quickly ran to the other side of his room and grabbed his notebook, flipping to an empty page as he made himself comfortable on the cushion on his window sill.
The page lit up by the soft moonlight, Taehyung thought about his dream again. He didn't remember anything from the dream except a flower crown and a meadow which was clearly not in the Kim Kingdom nor the Park's.
Once again, it felt like he was the toddler and those onyx eyes were there again. This time, he could see a beautiful flower crown and a silhouette running around a meadow filled with daisies.
As far as he remembered, Park's had roses and tulips and the meadow in the castle had baby's breath and lavenders.
He was so confused. Taehyung felt like he was always present with the silhouette but he himself does not remember a single person that fulfils the criteria. He didn't know anyone who had those pitch-black eyes and he is certain that he has not been to a meadow filled with daisies in his life.
So, what was his subconscious conjuring up? It was like torture.
His heart rate always spiked up and his emotions were almost always heightened whenever he remembered those eyes. Now with this new picture in his mind, he felt suffocated by his own thoughts.
He sketched the flower crown with utmost precision and the daisy meadow scenery and for Taehyung that was miraculous, especially since his art skills isn't ever so great even when he is drawing something he knows about. Now all of a sudden he is DaVinci himself? Strangely, drawing that flower crown felt familiar but this was the first one he has drawn in his life.
"I think being awake at 3 am in the morning is doing things to me, I better go sleep," Taehyung whispered to himself putting away his notebook safely before snuggling up with his blankets, trying to fall asleep.

"Rise and shine Taebear!"
"Wha一" Before, Taehyung couldn't even process, the smell of fresh brownies wafted to his nostrils.
"Jinnie!" Taehyung was up and running mauling his hyung in a bear hug.
"Awh, my baby missed me?" Jin ruffled Taehyung's hair. It has been at most three days since the two have seen each other and they missed each other.
"Where have you disappeared to hyung?"
"It's a secret," Jin whispered his pointer at his lips.
"Lately, you have been disappearing a lot hyung. You are so suspicious. Are cheating on Namjoon?" Taehyung asked curiously.
"You silly, it's a surprise and I promise I will tell you soon m'kay? Anyways, my dear hubby told me his baby bro wanted brownies if I wanted to be forgiven by him. So am I forgiven?"
"You're forgiven and I will figure it out soon!" Tae huffed, his cheeks puffing out as he stuffed a brownie in his mouth.
"Such a cutie!"
"Tae!... Great Jin's here too, get your asses up Joon is calling us to his study right now!" Jimin barged into the younger's room interrupting their brownie session.
"Ew, get a room!" Jimin wrinkled his nose at the couple kissing.
"Yah this kid一"
"Enough you two, anyways urgent news. The royals of the Jeon Kingdom are coming tomorrow and we need their accommodations done ASAP, so I need all your help. Jinnie can you fetch them? Jimin bring their guards to their quarters and Taehyung, you can make the arrangements for where the royals will be staying in the castle."
Jin massaged Joon's tense shoulders and the younger two decided to leave the couple alone.
"If only I can find someone like that," Jimin sighed.
Taehyung just smiled, truly their older brother's relationship was enviable and he also hoped to experience such love, tender loving care from his future partner.
"Ugh, duty calls, I have to do the invitations for the ball remember, bye TaeTae," Jimin waved as they parted ways.
To be honest, Taehyung had a whole lot in his mind but he shoved them aside and concentrated on his new task.
