Scott hasn't moved from his spot on the couch. He's been waiting for Emily to come home, but is starting to give up. He's oblivious to how many hours have passed by and doesn't even notice the tears cascading down his cheeks. His mind starts to go over every single possibility and before he knows it he's dialing his brothers number.

"Scott?" His brother ask after the second ring.

"James, I don't know where Emily is," he sniffs, running his hand through his messy hair.

"Scott, calm down. She's probably just fine." His brother says in attempt to soothe him.

"No. Shes usually back by now. I said some things that I shouldn't have but she usually comes back" Scott explains. The memory of last night flooding through his system.

"Have you tried calling her?" James ask.

"She left her phone here."

"OK, then just get some rest and if she isn't back by tomorrow go look for you," James advises. They said they're goodbyes and Scott slammed his hand down on the coffee table, his body begged for sleep but he wouldn't allow it, in hopes that shed come home. If only Emily could see him now.

Matt and Luke had already retreated to their room. Which left Emily laying on her bed, thoughts of Scott forcing her to stay awake. They're memories together, both the good and the bad, flash before her eyes. The ache in her stomache became too much and she found herself falling into her old routine as she put on her shoes and walked to the nearest bar. This reminds her of a quote her father used to always say "you can't teach an old dog new tricks." But he was referring to his wifes several affairs, not his alcoholic daughter. Her mom and dad also had a toxic relationship. Whenever she enters the bar she orders her usual and sways lightly to the music playing. The bartender hands her the drink and she chugs it all down and orders another round. With every drink, she is liberated. But her freedom is ripped from her when she sees a couple in the back laughing and having a good time as if they were the only two people in the room. She pushes the memory of Scott to the back of her mind and drinks until shes numb, both mentally and physically. She feels a weird tingle spread throughout her body as black dots cloud her vision. She feels the floor slip from underneath her feet, but she doesn't respond. If only scott could see her now.
