Chapter 1

A typical day in YG University.Lisa was outside the school gate unpatiently tapping her foot as she was looking around.

"Where is that girl?"she asked to herself glancing on her watch.But suddenly a pair of hands covered her eyes.

"Guess who?" A voice behind her asked Lisa let out a chuckle. "I know it's you Jennie"

Jennie pulled out her hands on Lisa's eyes.Lisa turned around at her to meet a shorter brunette with round glasses pouting. "How did you know it was me?" Jennie pouted.

"Tch.Your tiny hands speaks the answer Nini"she teasingly said."My hands are not Tiny!"she nudged at her bestfriend as she laughed.

"Yeah!Yeah!Whatever" Lisa turned her back as she walked in the school."The last one there is a rotten egg!" She said as she ran to the school.

"YAH! THAT'S NOT FAIR" The brunette yelled as she ran after her bestfriend.

As they entered the halls of the school Jennie was still teasing her best friend running after her sticking her tongue out. She wasn't looking where she was going and accidently bumped into someone causing her to stumble and fall.

"Ouch!"

She looked at the tall person she just bumped into and was embarrasedly shocked to see the School's Hearthrob and also her long time crush, Kim Taehyung coldly glaring at her.

She quickly stood up to fix herself and bowed apologictically. "T-Taehyung.. I'm s-so sorry.. I didn't mean to– I wasn't looking where I was going and–"

"Watch where you're going four eyes."she cut him off with a hissed before walking away.

Jennie was heart broken of the conversation he had with Taehyung. She let out a sigh.

"Hey Nini bear" Her best friend Lisa called softly. " I saw what happened there.. Are you okay?" Lisa asked.

"Forget it.. Let's go" she said in disappointment as she walked away with a sad look on her face lowering her head as she walked to the classroom.

"Oh Nini.." she mumbled to herself as she followed Jennie from behind.

The two girls went inside the classroom as they walk into they're seats. Luckily the teacher hasn't arrived yet so they weren't late.

Jennie was about to approach her seat but suddenly stumbled and fall to the floor. She was soon greeted with a evil laugh by Jeon Somi.

"Whoops! Sorry I didn't see you there four eyes.. Maybe i need glasses too" she laughed evily.

"STOP THAT SOMI!" Lisa shouted. Helping the brunette stand up. "Shut up Forehead! I can't believe your even defending an ugly nerd like her" Somi rolled her eyes.

"Atleast i'm not dating a womanizer like you" Lisa replied. "Come on Jennie.. You can come sit with me" Lisa offered smiling and Jennie nodded.

Being bullied by Somi was not new for Jennie. Somi was the Principal's daughter so no one dared to mess with her. They we're too scared to step up.

But what's worst about that, She was dating Taehyung.. Yes. Kim Taehyung her crush.

"Nini.. Nini.. JENNIE!" Lisa shouted knocking Jennie back to her sense. "Sorry.. I wasn't listening what is it?" Jennie asked.

"You haven't touch your food yet.. Is there something wrong?" Lisa worriedly asked. "No.. I'm fine" the brunette sighed.

Lisa couldn't help but feel broken looking at her friend's sad look on her face. She just wanted Jennie to be always Happy.

She wanted her to flash her sweet gummy smiles at her and laugh sweetly. She admited that she did like her.. no she was in love with her. But she knew that her best friend loved Taehyung so she never told her feelings.

I mean who wouldn't love her? She was sweet, pretty inside and outside, a good cook, shy and most of all she had the most beautiful smile.

"Is it about Taehyung?or Somi?" Lisa asked. But Jennie shook her head.

"Neither." She shortly said.

"Then what is it then?" Lisa asked again .

"I was just thinking.. Maybe if I confess to Taehyung do you think he might like me?!" Jennie asked.

"Yeah! Of course he will! I mean– your smart, sweet, kind and most of all your beautiful" Lisa smiled. But deep down her heart was breaking. What if Taehyung would give her a chance? How can she handle seeing her best friend also crush with another man she thought.

"I am?" Jennie asked to clarify. Lisa smiled and nodded. "Ne, you are"

"I'm gonna confess to him after school! And who knows I maybe just get a boyfriend after today" she happily giggled. "But.. I'm so nervous Lisa will you come with me Please i can't do this alone" she cutely pleaded puppy eyeing.

Lisa heart beat fast. She was so cute, she thought. "Okay Nini.. I'll watch you from a far" she replied. Jennie pounced on her to give her the biggest hug. "THANK YOU LILI! THANK YOU!" she repeated.Lisa couldn't help but smile and hugged her back. "Anything for you Nini"

AFTER SCHOOL

"You got this Nini! If you need me I'll be here watching you" Lisa smiled cheering her best friend.

Jennie took deep breathes holding a heart shape box of chocolates in her hands. Taehyung was at the side of the school gate talking with his man friends.

"Here goes nothing" Jennie exhale one last time and slowly walked to Taehyung.

"Uhmm.. H-Hi?" she greeted them. "Hey?" Taehyung awkwardly said.

Jennie gulped and handed over the heart shape box to him holding it with both of her hands. "T-Taehyung I-I like you! W-will you go o-out with m-me" She nervously said as she stuttered. Lisa flashed her two thumbs up cheering the brunette.

When Jennie was gaining more confidence. He heart Taehyung and his friends laughing loudly and her heart sunk.

T-Taehyung I-I like you! W-will you go o-out with m-me" Taehyung imitated laughing. He took the heart shape box of chocolates and threw it to the ground stomping on it til it smashed.

"You think a boy like me will go out with a girl like you?" He let out a laugh again. "I mean look at you! You have a big nose, small eyes and lips but whats worst is you look FAT!" he laughed again.

Jennie could feel her tears rolled down her cheeks with all the negative compliments she was getting. She couldn't take it anymore and ran away crying.

Lisa on the other hand, Witnessed everything and was flamming with anger. " That little piece of shit" she murmured clentching her fist.

She saw Jennie exit the school her palms in her face, crying. She quickly ran after her luckily she caught up.

"JENNIE WAIT!" She grabbed her wrist.

Jennie wiped her tears as she faced her best friend. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT LISA?!" she furiously shouted.

"Stay strong Nini.. He's not worth your tears come on" Lisa said. But Jennie wasn't looking at her she was mad yet broken.Lisa sighed and looked at her eyes deeply.

"Come on Nini.. Let me take you home" Lisa said. "I can go home myself..See you tommorow." Jennie coldly said as she run away.

Lisa sighed. It hurts her seeing her best friend crying over a rejection but she couldn't do anything. But she was willing to wait for her to heal.
