"Is this seat taken?" Meredith approaches the very tall-looking, hot woman.

"Now it is," says the woman, who smiles up at Meredith.

That's a good sign.

"So is this a good place to hang out around here?" says Meredith, smiling back at the redhead who relaxes on her barstool.

"It's not bad," says the redhead. "I'm Addison, by the way," says Addison, as she reaches her hand out to Meredith.

"Meredith-" says Meredith, as she reaches her own hand out as well.

Their hands brush together, and Meredith shivers.

Addison's hands are so soft, and so warm. And Meredith can't help that she has very long and delicate fingers...

"So, what do you do, Addison?" says Meredith curiously.

"Do you really want to talk to me about work?" Addison asks her.

"No..." says Meredith, her voice dropping an octave. "You're right... I don't..."

"Me neither," says Addison, as she takes in Meredith's warm gaze, and meets it with her own.

Meredith looks into Addison's green eyes, and sees the flecks of gold and blue in them, and she's entranced.

"I'm in town for a week or so-" says Meredith boldly, so that Addison knows what the playing field is.

"That's plenty of time-" says Addison, smirking as she watches Meredith watching her hands as she reaches for her drink.

Meredith tries to pretend that this doesn't affect her, but it totally does.

Addison's amused expression does wonders for her imagination.

Her confidence exuded prowess, and Meredith isn't used to being matched in that department.

"Excellent," says Meredith, in a dull growling voice, that she knows works her charm in her favor. It's working in her favor right now, judging by the way that Addison is crossing her legs left over right on her barstool.

"So where are you from, Meredith?" says Addison, in an equally low and gravelly voice that snds shivers down Meredith's spine.

Meredith considers this, and she thinks that she's not really from Seattle. She grew up in Boston with her mom, and that's what she goes with.

"Boston," says Meredith, without any further explanation.

"I'm from New York," says Addison, simply.

Meredith nods at the redhead, still captivated by her eyes.

When she came here, she was just expecting to sit in the bar and people-watch, not to seriously start considering abandoning her morals and jump into bed with the first hot woman to cross her path.

But this woman is different, Meredith thinks to herself.

She's wholesome and definitely smart.

She seems kind, and she's extremely leggy.

Meredith can see most of her long legs exposed from where her short black pencil skirt is riding up on her thighs, and yes, she is definitely into that.

"What interested you in Los Angeles?" Meredith asks, continuing to get to know her companion.

"I had a best friend here, and I wanted to get away from the Big Apple after my messy divorce there," says Addison.

"Ooh, bad breakup?" says Meredith.

"Yup," says Addison, popping the 'p,' and it makes Meredith smile.
