We went up the grand staircase and into a darkened hallway that led to the West Wing. Along the way, we saw a broken mirror which reflected our concerned looks and Mei's terrified stare. Next, we saw a door with golden gargoyles for knobs. Belle took a deep breath and opened the door to the Beast's lair. We were shocked by what was there.

"That's the West Wing?!" Mei whispered, nervous.

"It is, love. We'll have to be careful...lot of broken things and glass in here." I whispered soothingly as we went inside.

Belle knocked over a table but she and I both caught it in time.

"Careful, Belle..." I whispered.

While Belle and Mei explored the broken photo of someone, I saw the pink glow of the enchanted rose which was encased in a glass covering.

That's the enchanted rose! Tamera told me about it! I exclaimed in thought.

"Oi, you two, come here!" I called out softly.

"What's that?" Mei asked as she sidled up to me.

"That's the enchanted rose, Mei...your mother has told me about it...an enchantress placed a powerful spell on the castle and all who lived here...including a young prince who was transformed into a beast for his selfish ways." I explained softly. "If the Beast could learn to love another and earn theirs in return before the last petal fell, only then will the spell be broken."

"What happens if he doesn't?" Mei asked curiously.

"He'll remain a beast forever." I explained. "As of right now, the rose is already losing its flower petals...it's beginning to wilt."

"Uh-oh..." Mei replied worried.

I nodded wordlessly.

"Belle and I saw a picture of a prince...could he be the same person with blue eyes?" Mei asked.

"I'm not sure, love..." I mused in thought. "You could be right..."

Belle removed the covering for the rose and was curious to touch its petals. Before she could, we could see the Beast's shadow looming as she gasped.

"Blimey, Belle, we shouldn't be in here!" I exclaimed nervously as I saw the Beast's eyes filled with fury. He furiously put the glass covering on top of the rose and glanced at us with unbridled anger.

"I told you...!" Mei hyperventilated as she held on to me.

"I know, love...We're sorry..." I soothed in her ear as I hugged her.

"Why did you come here?" The Beast asked growling.

"We didn't mean to..." I explained calmly.

"I'm—I'm sorry." Belle stammered nervously.

"I warned you never to come here!" The Beast raised his voice.

"I didn't mean any harm." Belle explained, frightened.

"Do you REALIZE WHAT YOU COULD HAVE DONE?!" The Beast roared now very furious. He began thrashing his things as we backed away.

Mei screamed, hyperventilating now in my arms.

"Please, stop!" Belle pleaded, now scared.

"GET OUT!!!" The Beast screamed now.

"No!" Belle exclaimed scared.

"Let's get out of here!" I exclaimed worried.

"GET OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT!!!" The Beast roared while thrashing his things.
