Chapter 7: Months Later

It's the middle of September and it has been three months since Sebastian and Iona met. They grew close to each other and became best friends. Iona has been doing good with her job at Spellbound and getting her own channel. Sebastian started filming his new show and has been begging Iona to come to the set with him but Iona explained that it won't be a good idea. They continued to hang out on their days off, brunch or dinner here and there. They have dodged all the press thanks to Sebastian's agency, they fell in love with Iona since the first day they met her in person.

It's a Friday afternoon at Spellbound and Iona has been running around the studio getting videos done and edited at the same time getting to meetings on time since nine-thirty in the morning. At two in the afternoon she was able to sit in her office and take a breather. She checked her phone that she left in her backpack and saw ten missed calls from her brother and five from Sebastian. She also have texts from them.

SS: Good morning, bubs! Do you have plans tonight?

SS: Bubs? Please make sure you eat on time or snack on something. Call me when you can.

N: Sis! I need to go out of town for a job. I left some things for you in my room. I'll call you whenever I can. Call me whenever, if I don't answer then I'll call once I'm free. Love you sis. See you in a month.

SS: I'm free now and all weekend.

Iona felt so bad for not checking her phone all morning. She called Sebastian after calling her brother.

'Hey. Are you okay?' Sebastian answered.

'Yeah. I'm so sorry, I have been so busy all morning. I had a shoot with GG then Overkill and I had to edit videos and go to meetings in between. and...'

Sebastian cut her off, 'Yona, slow down.'

She took a deep breath, 'Sorry. I just. I'm tired.' Then there was a knock on her door. 'I'll call you back.' She then hung up.

'Come in,' she yelled.

'Yona, Tesla called and your car is ready. Do you need a ride?' Matthias said as he entered the office.

'That was fast. Do I have to pick it up today? I'm swamped with work.' She started to panic.

'Yona, relax. You are so ahead of your tasks, you can take the rest of the day off and get your car.' Matthias laughed.

'That's true.' She nervously laughed.

'Come, Sam and I are getting something at Target, we will take you to get your car.'

'Alright. I'll be down there in a sec. Let me just get my stuff.' Yona smiled.

'Alright, we will be upfront.' Matthias left and Iona started to gather her things and put them in her backpack. She swung her bag on her shoulder and grabbed her phone, she then headed out.

'See you guys on Monday!' She told the other staff. She then headed out when she saw Matt and Sam pulled up. She got in the car and buckled in.

'Are you alright?' Samantha asked.

'Huh?' Iona looked up,

'Are you okay?' Samantha repeated.

'Oh, yeah. I just need to get my mind to slow down.' Iona smiled.

'Okay. If you need to talk, we're here.' Matthias said and started to drive off.

Iona took her phone out and texted Sebastian.

Sebby... I'm off work now but I'm headed to Target with Matt and Sam then we are going to Tesla to get my car.

She hit send and closed her eyes.
