Usman's pov

"Good morning mum" usman said
Morning dear. Sit down and have breakfast" said mum
Good morning grandma. Good morning dad" he greeted them both
Morning" they both said simultaneously
Good morning brother"falmata said
Morning" I said
Sadiqque won't u greet ur brother?"mum asked
He is not my brother so I won't greet himself answered
They ate there breakfast and usman headed to the office
As he was going not being mindful of the road a he was thinking of wat sadiqque said to him he almost had an accident with a woman

Khadija's POV

Hey can't u see where u r going? r u blind? U almost hit me come out of the car, I said come out" She shouted
Hey do u know hu u r talking to" usman answered
I don't care whoever u r I just know u almost hit and u could go to jail for that
Look am the Prince so u don't talk to me any how u want
Hey I don't care didn't I tell I don't care I just know that no one is above law and I can jail for almost hitting me and also for harassing me
Look am getting late for work and it's all because of u
It's not as if am not late and besides today is my first day and u ruined it all
Look here take 5000naira use it freshen up and then u can get to ur work
Excuse me I don't take charity for ur kind information, I don't want any of this. Instead of u to apologise u r giving me money
Whatever I don't care u r making me late
As if uhhh I have never met a more annoying, rude, and manner mannerless person like u
Whatever am going because u r just wasting my time"he said and left
I seriously hate that man instead of him to apologise he is even giving me money, is he trying to insult me?" She said to herself and checks the time
Oh my god its already 10am am soo late and it's all because of that man ya Allah please never make me come in contact with this man again" sha said and ran off

Usman's POV

Ugh that girl has ruined my day. I was already late and she just had to come and interfere between my car and the road. Ugh I seriously hate that girl ya Allah pls never make me come in contact with this girl ever in my life, ameen" he prayed
Oh my god I just remembered i have a very important surgery today and am going o be late for it and if am late the patient might lose his life, my god, ya Allah pls keep this patient safe until I reach the hospital" he said to himself
He arrived at the hospital 25 minutes after 10 and immediately he reached he went to his office and called out to Kevin(his personal assistant)
Kevin, that patient that I had to do surgery on today is he stable?
Yes sir he is and u can perform the surgery now
Ok thanks Kevin prepare the OT now am going to perform this surgery now
But sir he has some complications if u perform it now he might slip into coma
I know that Kevin just do as I say
I performed the surgery and it was successful, I didn't have any other cases so I just went home early
I reached and I was tired and having headaches and guess who I saw?
I saw that rude and arrogant girl that made me late for work and I think she was on the chandelier and was cleaning it she was about to fall and I didn't know when I quickly went and caught her and she was closing her eyes and shouting when I caught her
She seemed so scared and she looked so pretty and her hair was covering her hair and I was about to remove it when I heard my mum's voice shout "USMAN"
I quickly dropped her on the floor and she said "ouch wat was the need for u to catch me if u where going to drop me on the floor like that"

Khadija's pov

I was cleaning the chandelier when I slipped by mistake and I felt someone caught me I was so scared that I closed my eyes when I was caught and when I opened them I saw that arrogant and rude man I met on the road earlier in the morning
I wanted to tell him to keep me down when I heard her highness shout USMAN which I guess was his name
He immediately dropped me on the floor and I fell down on my butt and I didn't know when ouch wat was the need for u to catch me if u where going to drop me on the floor like that
Her highness then said mind your tongue u r talking to the Prince here, and also who do u think u r, u r just a maid here like others, and I don't see u on ur uniform where r they, she asked
Your highness actually I don't wear trousers so that is why I did not put the uniform on
How dare talk back at me and also I don't care if u don't wear trousers here u follow the rules or leave the job and for breaking the rules I have punishment for u today u will not eat even a morsel of food and u will be the one to cook for everyone
Your highness pls am very sry this will never happen again but pls don't punish me
Enough I have already decided and am not ready to change my minds he said
I did not even know when tears started rolling down my cheeks and I was just begging her to pls not punish me
Yh mum pls don't punish she just made a mistake and it's not a must for her to wear trousers if she doesn't wear them"a younger looking man said which I guess was the prince's younger brother
Look sadiqque u better stay out of this "her highness said and she left the parlour heading to her room
Shortly everyone started leaving, leaving only me in the parlour and I thought since it was a little late in the evening I should start preparing the food
I finished before magrib went to pray before everyone came out and sat on the dining table they all ate and went to there separate rooms except for the prince's younger brother which I guess his name was sadiqque
I was about to leave when he said wait(knowing fully well that he doesn't know my name)
Hi am sadiqque and u r?"he asked
Am khadija
I wanted to apologise for my mum's harsh punishment but Don't  worry I can sneak some food for u
I chuckled and said don't worry its not ur fault its mine if I had followed the rules this wouldn't have happened
Okay am off to my room bye
Bye I replied and I went straight to the maids side in the house

Hey guys am extremely sorry for the very late update. Am very very sorry. I apologise from the bottom of my heart. And also I got a new baby brother and his name is usman. And also this is my longest chapter yet so yay😄. And also pls don't stop reading this book it gets more interesting ahead. And pls I know I won't be updating frequently but I will try in sha Allah.
