Chapter 29

The room remained frozen unsure whether it wise enough for them to go after Stiles or to allow him the space he needs, JJ slipped out of the room and back into the bedroom where the twins are sleeping to make sure the shouting hadn't woken them.

"Shouldn't we go after him?" Emily asks breaking the silence within the room as the only movement present in the room was currently Garcia typing on her computer furiously trying to track Lydia's phone or any signs of Andrea or Kate.

"Nope, not when he is in this type of mood. We have found it is best to let him cool off, don't worry he will come back when he is ready." Arnold advises as he and Chelsea start to clear away the boxes and plates from where everyone had eaten.

"I don't think I have ever really seen him that angry before, I mean I have seen him threaten people before but the fury radiating off him was so intense." Scott advises as he takes a seat and grabs his drink taking a few gulps of his water.

JJ comes racing out of the room she was in before darting into the other one before checking the bathroom before frantically looking around the room where everyone is gathered.

"Has anyone seen Riley or Allison? They are not in the room but the window was wide open, this can't be happening right now." JJ frantically rushes out to room all of whom jump to their feet ready to help search.

"They probably went after Stiles; they must have overheard everything and went after him. Come on we need to go search for the twins and Stiles whether he wants us to be with him or not." Sheriff advises before everyone except Arnold and Garcia, they decide to wait behind in case any of them come back.

In the meantime, Stiles had found a clear opening in the woods with a log lying down with the moon sparklingly over the water as the small fire he had made crackled in front of him. His head was still rattling over everything that had just happened, how could they do this to him? Why couldn't Lydia have found some way to have told him what was happening?

As the thoughts rattled around Stiles's head he starts to question whether he was doing the right thing as a father by coming back and constantly putting his family, friends and colleagues in constant danger. Maybe next time, he should pretend to stay dead and go somewhere to start his life all over again.

"Thought this where you would be, you are like us both. Riley liking the solidness of the earth and me liking the wide-open sea and sky." Allision's voice rings out making him jump, as he turns towards the voice to see his two children walking towards him.

"What are you both doing here? Do the others know you are here?" Stiles asks his children as they take a seat on the log next to him, he hates how grown up they act for such young children.

"No, we snuck out the window after you left and followed you here. You were hard to track but I remember what the Calavera's taught me about tracking someone." Riley advises before walking over to snuggle in on one side of Stiles as Allision moves to sit on his other side.

"You two truly are my little troublemakers, I love you both." Stiles states wrapping his arms around his children into a tight group hug, when he left the safe house he did want to be alone but he was gratefully they were there with him.

"Is nice Mummy coming back?" Riley asks his dad as he release the duo from the hug but keeps them tucked in close on each side.

"I hope so buddy, it just seems she may have got in some trouble like I do and left to protect us. But I promise you both, I will bring her home and we will be a big happy family." Stiles advises telling his children what he thought they needed to hear but, in a way, hoping he can make that a reality for them all.
