It turned out we didn't go to the supermarket, we ended up going to this adorable little French café off of Main Street.
"I'm sorry you didn't get to your errands," Luke apologized.
"It's fine, really. Trust me, I've been trying to find a way out of my errands and this was the perfect way to bail out of them." I answered, smothering my croissant with butter.
"I'm not sure it's perfect, I mean this isn't a fancy restaurant, you deserve better for a gorgeous girl like you," Luke exposed.
Wait, what? Was Luke Hemmings complimenting me? I still haven't fully developed this concept enough to realize that this wasn't a dream. I still felt like I was on a cloud with my head up in space.
"Go..go..goregous?" I blushed.
"Yeah, I mean you're all what a guy looks for in a girl." He sputtered.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
"Wait, what? That's not true, I.." I attempted but he cut me off.
"It's extremely true, I haven't been able to keep my eyes off you." He confessed, grabbing my hand.
I blushed so hard I felt like my cheeks were going to set on fire.
"You.. you mean it?" I croaked.
"Of course I do, I mean who wouldn't? What do you say you come to my place and me the boys?" He confided.
"Sure! I mean if that's okay with them," I gawped. God I am so stupid.
"It's fine, they love new people, they're sure going to love you," he trembled. "Want to leave now?"
"Uh, um, sure," I proffered.
"Alright then, let's go," he said, jumping out of his chair, taking my hand and walking me out of the small café. What a gentleman!
We walked along the curb to his car and I watched him play with his lip piercing. God was that attractive. His beanie was falling off, so I stopped him and I fixed it and put it back in place.
He smiled at me then grabbed my waist, pulling me close to him, and then clashed his lips onto mine. His lip piercing felt weird at first, but then I got used to it. I felt like the whole world stopped in time. He was amazing and he was mine.
He pulled away and grabbed my hand. I looked at him, and he looked at me, and I smiled.
"Luke?" I asked.
"Yes?"
"You know how you said, 'I'm all what guy looks for in a girl?'" I said.
"Yeah?"
"Well, you're all I look for in a guy." I released.
He smiled and kissed my forehead. I never would've imagined my day going like this, but Luke made the impossible seem easy.
