It was terrible. The blasts of green light shower no mercy for the black haired man or the red haired woman. Their bodies fell to the floor without a moments hesitation, Lily Potters last scream echoing around the room as the man she dreaded most in her life turned to her baby in his crib.
Then it was over. No more flashing lights, the baby say in the crib, crying and in pain but still unharmed."James!" Lily cried. She was confused. Where was she? It looked like home, only all white. She called out a few more times until everything faded again.
"Lily!" In another white replica of godrics hollow, James Potter called out for his wife, lost in the shadowy white.
Then they were in the afterlife. They were together, with more witches and wizards everywhere.
"You saved them! All of them! Hes gone!" A bald wizard cheered. The frightened couple gripped each other as the people around them danced.
"Here, look," someone handed James a looking glass. He peered into it and saw something heartbreaking.
"It's Harry, he's at your sisters house, Lily. Dumbledore has him," he spoke softly. Lily snatched it from his hands.
"Who found our bodies? Why isn't he with Sirius?" She screamed.
"Lily, I'm sure, with time, we'll figure everything out. We have eternity here, waiting for our friends to join us at the end of time. Don't worry, Lily, we'll be ok. It's Harry we should worry about,"
"Oh, Harry!" She peered back into the glass. He was in a crib and her sister was rocking him with a frown on her face for the baby, but then she also cried whenever the baby opened him eyes. He had her eyes after all.
