She didn't notice Sathyadev coming out of the shower.
He was talking but nothing went into her head.He took out his shirt from the wardrobe when his gaze fell on the sanitary napkin pack.
D: Haven't you been using these?
She was biting her nails,lost in her own world.He frowned at her.
D: Thenmozhi!
T: Huh...uh...you called me?
He repeated his question.That was when she realized she hadn't used those since the previous month.
T: Huh...I missed...I mean I'm using another brand.
The missed period further caused a jitter in her.
T mv: Relax..this doesn't mean pregnancy it could have been delayed due to work stress.
She reassured herself.
D: You seem to be brooding over something.Is there anything that you want to share with me?
T: Ye..huh..no no nothing...just that I feel tired..
He went to her side,carefully lowered her on the bed and pulled the quilt up till her neck ensuring she was comfortable.
D: Sleep...
He caressed her head.
T: No it's ok...I have to cook.
She tried to get up but he held her back.
D: Don't stress about all that.I'll cook,keep everything ready and only then I'll go.You just have you meal on time and take rest.
He kissed her forehead before leaving the room.
T mv: He's so good...I've failed him.😢

Thenmozhi stood in the bathroom staring at the pregnancy test kit in her hand which displayed a positive sign.
T: Why...why...why...everything was going fine in my life now this...😞
She was not in talking terms with her mother and her sister was in another part of the world.The only person she could rely on was Nancy.Thenmozhi confided in her.
Nancy was happy for them until Thenmozhi explained her predicament on Sathyadev's condition of not having a child of their own.
