3 years later...

"Pansy! That's my skirt!" Someone yelled and Carmen Lestrange sat up in her bed yawning. The voice was coming from her cousin, Alli who was yelling at Pansy Parkinson, one of their roommates. "You're ridiculous Alli! We don't even wear the same size skirt! How could your skirt fit me?" Pansy yells back from the bathroom.

"You two are ridiculous." Carmen says picking a skirt up from the ground. "Alli here's your skirt." She says rolling her eyes walking over to her closet. She gets out her quidditch sweater, black skirt, tights, and her Slytherin robe. "I still can't believe Flint let you be on the quidditch team, you're like, the first girl he picked to be on the team." Alli says as Carmen puts her sweater on. "I know I'm amazing." Carmen says smirking. "Cmon slytherbitches it's time for breakfast." Their roommate Daphne Greengrass yelled while she was standing by the open door. Carmen grabbed Allis hand and started dragging her towards the door. The four girls walked down to the great hall, pushing past some first years and took a seat at their usual table.

"Good morning love." someone says after they sit down and Carmen looks behind her, Blake Lovegood stood behind them with Ryker Nott, Draco Malfoy, and Blaise Zabini. "Blake, stop calling me love, you've been calling me it ever since first year." Carmen says rolling her eyes. "Loosen up Lestrange." Ryker says giving her his usual glare. Alli looks behind them, "oh if it isn't my ugly blonde brother and his goon squad." she says smirking. "We're not goons if anything he's our goon." Blaise says glaring at her. "You're totally his goon Blaisey." Pansy says from the other side of the table, using the nickname that Blaise hates. "Yeah whatever." Blaise says before he walks off. Blake looks at Carmen and smirks before following them back to their table. The girls all looked at each other and Daphne started laughing, which made the rest of them laugh.

They were all talking and gossiping with some other Slytherin girls until they heard a bang from the Gryffindor table. They look at each other with confused looks as Carmen and Alli got up and walked over to the table. The Potter twins had been fighting over a gift they got from Sirius Black. Ares gets up and snatches the gift from between them "Is your dad finally out of Azkaban, Black?" Carmen asks crossing her arms. "Yep! Finally out, he went to see Lupin last night and I got a letter earlier today." Ares says. "I still can't believe Sirius Black married Remus Lupin, a wimpy half-blood." Pansy said from behind Carmen. Ares glares at her "at least he could get a boyfriend that doesn't cheat and leave him unlike you." he says opening the gift the twins got while pansy glared at him and started pulling out her wand. "Pansy no. Go back to our table." Carmen says rolling her eyes. Ares opened the gift and there were two Gryffindor jumpers with an E on one for Ellie and a H on the other. "Once again the potters get gifts and I don't." Ares says rolling his eyes. "Hey those are like the jumpers mum makes us at Christmas!" Ron Weasley says while in the middle of eating his food. "Ronald! Don't talk with food in your mouth!" Hermione scolds him and the Potters laugh.

Carmen smirks "tough luck Ares, maybe next time your dad will care enough to send you something other than a lame letter." she says before grabbing Alli who was talking to Ellie Potter and heading back to the Slytherin table. Before she can get there someone pulls on her other arm. "Hey Carmen can we talk?" Cedric Diggory the Hufflepuff captain asks her. Carmen lets go of Alli and scoffs. "Sure, what do you want Diggory?" She asks looking up at him. "I just wanted to ask if you wanted to go out sometime maybe?" He says looking around at everyone staring at them. "Listen Ceddy, I get it, you think I'm cute you're just like every boy, you try to get with the only girl on the Slytherin quidditch team just so you can try to distract me when we play. Well guess what, the answer is no buddy. Now why don't you go cry to your sister over there." Carmen says with a cocky look on her face before she pats his shoulder and sits down at her table laughing with all of her friends. Cedric then awkwardly walks away back to the Hufflepuff table.

"Still crushing on the girl after that remark Georgie?" Ares asks smirking at George. "Oh shut it Black, I don't have a crush on Carmen." George says looking at Fred for backup. "I'm with Ares on this one buddy, you're crushing hard on that girl." Fred says high-fiving Ares. "You two are ridiculous." George says, standing up and storming out of the great hall.

"Hey Lestrange!" Adrian Pucey yelled from another table, "how about me and you go on a date tonight in the astronomy tower!" he said smirking to all of the quidditch boys. Carmen was barely paying attention to him, "yeah sure whatever Pucey." she says getting up and walking out of the great hall

"Did you really just agree to go on a date with Adrian?" Daphne asks following her out of the great hall. "It may be a total joke so that they can all laugh in my face but at least he can't use me to win a quidditch game" Carmen says shrugging. "You don't know that Cedric was going to do that though Carm." Daphne says as they reach the dungeons, "basilisk." she says and the common room portrait let's them in. "I don't care I'm not going out with a Hufflepuff." Carmen says rolling her eyes. "Whatever Carmen, but you're never going to get a boyfriend if you only date Slytherins." Daphne says then walks off to go to their room. Carmen watches Daphne leave and shrugs before picking up her potions book to study before class.
