"Oh, you must be my roommate! I'm Rachelle. It's nice to meet you!" she said, smiling as she extended her arms for a handshake, but I couldn't move nor answer when I saw the person next to her. Lucas.
"Bea?" the asshole muttered, eyes wide, surprised to see me. When she saw that I was not gonna shake my hand, she dropped it down.
"You guys know each other? That's amazing!" she beamed, still oblivious of what's going on.
"Uhm, yeah? We uh...we went to the same school," I forced a smile out and looked at him. I felt a pang in my heart. He's looking at her like she's the most beautiful girl in the world but I can't blame him, she looks gorgeous and seems sweet too.
"Uhm, babe? We should go. Let's give her some space since she seems busy." He looked at my towel-covered body. My eyes widened and crossed my arms since I forgot I was only in a towel. He smirked. What a dickhead.
"Oh, yeah. Sorry!" She grabbed his hand and pulled them out of the room. I fell down the bed. Wasn't I trying to get over him? And here he was, in the same school as me! This is ridiculous! I should probably change.

The next morning, I felt someone nudge me. I opened my eyes and I immediately saw my best friend's face. I groan. It's probably waaaaayyyyyy too early. I sat up and closed my eyes because the sunlight was touching my face.
"Good morning!" She smiled at me. She's sat on my bed, near my feet.
"How the fuck did you get in here?"
"No cursing, please!" I laughed and rolled her eyes at me. "To answer your question, I was about to knock on your door when your roommate opened it. She said she was going with his boyfriend." I frowned at what she said but quickly hid it.
"What time is it?" I questioned.
"Uhh...10 o'clock in the morning? Get ready or I'll smack your pretty butt!"
"Yes, Mother Lily," I muttered.
When I was done in the bathroom, I changed my clothes. I picked a pink silk dress and topped it with a white turtleneck. I also grabbed a beige reefer coat since it's kinda cold outside.
"Oh, I love that!" She said with awe. "But, we should get going though. I need food so bad." she continued
"I second that." She laughed.

When Lily and I was tired of looking around the mall, we decided to go back to my dorm to take a rest. When I opened the door, I immediately saw Rachelle and Lucas laughing. They look so happy yet here I am, still in love with him. They stopped when they saw us.
"What is this fricker doing here?" Lily said loudly which made Lucas laugh. Dammit, I forgot to tell her.
"Still won't curse, Lily?" Lily just rolled his eyes at him. I looked over at Rachelle and she looks confused.
"Let's just hang out at my dorm." She smiled uncomfortably and dragged me out of the room and shut it close.
"Care to explain? Also, why didn't you tell me? We've been together the whole afternoon and you have never even uttered a word about it? I—" I placed a finger on her lips to shut her up.
"Shh! I'm sorry, okay? I forgot and was distracted by the food and clothes at the mall." I looked at her apologetically.
"We're not leaving in this spot until you tell me." She crossed her arm and raised a brow at me.
"What's there to explain? He's dating my roommate. That's it!" I said it way too loud which made her flinch. Hopefully, Rachelle didn't hear it from our room.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have demanded. I know it's not my business and I just...I—please forgive me" She cried out. Lily is a really sensitive person. She's a really really sweet person. So sweet actually that people just walk all over her. It's really sad how she does things she doesn't want to do because she knows it'll help the other person. That's why I'm always with her. I've been trying to convince her to say no to people, still not working though. I don't like people using her.
"Shh, it's okay. I was just in a really bad mood." I wrapped my arms around her and we started to walk towards her dorm.
"I really appreciate you. I hope you forget about him. He's not worth your precious time," she advised.
"I know." I give her a small smile.
