She remembered going to her teacher's house after saying farewell to Sthena and greeting her teacher. She had tea at her place then remembered feeling drowsy then finally falling asleep. The last few things she remembered was waking up in an alley to a sharp pain in her back, crimson spilling into her clothes, hands and the asphalt below followed by waking up here.

Flippy noticed the slight frown and furrowed eyebrows on his friend's painted lips, whatever she was thinking of might be bothering her. Sending Splendid off to bring some more snacks, he hoisted himself up on the counter beside the girl, "Hey [N], what you thinkin' bout?"

She said nothing, still deep in thought. He repeated his question, this time gently putting a hand on her shoulder to make sure she was aware of his presence. She looked at him, stared for a few seconds, then simply said "Oh it's just nothing..". It didn't convince Flippy at all but he decided not to pry any further, he didn't want to bother her on a day like this when they were supposed to be enjoying themselves, but made sure to keep an eye on her. Suddenly he felt a soft breath on his ear, it took him a few seconds to process what was told to him,

"I saw her and that Mrs. Maxwell talking, do you think it was something she said that made her act like this?"

Flippy carefully processed the words that were said to him, Mrs. Maxwell? But she looked pleasant. Is she hiding something? He saw the ladies talk, and he realized as well, how their conversation seemed to have taken a turn as their expressions changed. However, Flippy didn't pry much further as it was not his business and he didn't want to accuse his higher-ups and a respectable member of the community for something as little as a conversation that upset his crush. He'll have to keep a close eye on them, though, just in case.

Meanwhile a certain pair of twins snickered from the shadows they hid themselves in. None of the other guests or the hosts had noticed them come in, kidnap two of their guests and disguise themselves as them. They should really receive oscars for their acting skills, familiarizing themselves with not only the layout of the whole mansion, but its owners and their family, the guests, valuables, exits, entrances and stolen quite a few things as well in such little time, maybe it was just in their blood to be sneaky. They saw the exchange, they heard everything and if it meant they get to find out one of her weaknesses meant they will get that book no matter what. Yes, it might mean that she might hate them, but it wasn't like they were going to do anything with it, maybe just take a peek inside.

But how? How would they take [N] if she was surrounded by a literal goddamn superhero and an incredibly strong and persistent soldier, well, that's where a little something called kryptonut along with a hint of triggering noises comes into play. They managed to sneak in a bluetooth speaker with much difficulty (it was worth it) and spiked Splendid's cup of champagne with Kryptonut before he went into the washroom to bring back more drinks.

Now they just had to wait till that clown ass 'hero' brutally fucking died and the soldier went into his 17th mental breakdown of the month(lmao) and snatching [N]'s pretty ass away. The plan was foolproof.

It didn't take too long before their keen ears caught the sound of violent coughing coming from the unisex bathroom and the blue bitch rushing to the toilet to throw up.

[N]must've realized because she pulled Flippy out of the washroom just as Disco Bear came up to her questioning where she was. Lifty wore a large cheshire grin on his face at the sight of the human in trouble. Flippy and [N] in a washroom together? Now this was news to the tangerine coloured bear.
