Chapa's Crush

Delilah's POV

The team and I were hanging out in the Man's Nest when a mission came through at the close Nacho Ball. When we got there the robber managed to take down all of us but and now we're stuck in trash cans as the robber, TakeOut, robbed the restaurant.

ShoutOut's mouth was taped so she couldn't scream. My hands were taped to the top of the trash can so I couldn't lift my hands to form any of my energy orb's or blast. Brainstorm's eyes had tape on it and Captain Man was stuck with tape wrapped around him
his body. Volt was free but for the past few days she's been acting weird.

"Put the balls in the bag!" The robber ordered the woman working the cash register.

"I'm putting, this day is the worse!" She complained.

"Okay, we might need to take the L on this one." Captain Man said smirking. "Which is what I would say if we didn't have a secret weapon about to bust through that window, AWOL, now!"

AWOL let out a scream as he ran into the window with ropes tied around his body.

"Ow." AWOL groaned.

"What the-" Captain Man began shocked, "What happened to you?"

"There was a butterfly on the roof and then I got scared and then I got tangled up in this rope. Can someone please help me?!"

"Why are you scared of butterflies?" Captain Man asked with a blank face.

"Because their scary!" AWOL screamed in a high pitch voice.

Captain Man shook his head.

"Ok great, AWOL is bouncing into a wall, ShoutOut's mouth is covered up which is kinda nice actually." Captain Man said, making ShoutOut turn to him and say something but it came out muffled.

"Jinx's hands are taped so she can't create any energy orbs and Brainstorm's taking a much needed nap!" Captain Man sighed and Brainstorm shot up.

"I'm awake!" Brainstorm yelled, sitting up. "I'm blind! I can't see!"

"Brainstorm, honey, your just blindfolded." I said but he ignored me.

"Curse you fate!"

"Over to you, Volt, your hands are free and you can zap that guy with your electricity, so go ahead." Captain Man said to Volt who was in a daze.

I turned to her, waiting for Volt to zap the robber but she never did.

"Anyone else notice how blue the sky is today?" Volt smiled.

"Of course we noticed, it rained yesterday, now zap him." Captain Man ordered but Volt ignored him.

"What is this?" TakeOut asked looking into the bag. "I said I wanted Nacho Ball, Na'cho money!"

He threw the money at the cashier.

"I'm sorry robbers usually want money!" The worker cried.

I turned my head to Takeout and watched as he was given a bag of nachos. He took the bag and started to walk off.

"He's getting away, Volt, zap him!" Captain Man yelled but again he was ignored him.
