Mika, Miles, Delilah, Chapa, and Bose were in the Man's Nest wearing hats, coats, and gloves because Miles made an ice sculpture for a contest and needed the Man's Nest to be cold so it wouldn't melt.
Delilah had a huge puffy white coat on over her sweater and leggings with thick boots. Her small face was bright red from the cold, her arms were tightly wrapped around Chapa's waist with her head on her chest, trying to warm herself up.
Chapa had a hand on the small of her back, rubbing up and down in a soothing way. Because of her powers Chapa was pretty much always warm and whoever she touched also got warm so she was basically Delilah's personal heater.
Miles stood in front of a cart, with a concentrated look on his face.
"Chisel!" He shouted reaching behind him, so someone could pass the tool to him.
"Chisel!" Bose repeated giving it to him. Miles made a face as he used the chisel to chisel through the ice.
"Scalpel!"
Chapa passed it to him and everyone watched interested as he used the tools to make the sculpture.
"Why in the Jack Frost is it so cold in the Man's Nest?" Ray shivered a he walked out of the metal door. "I'm trying to work on my Man Tan!"
"It's cold because it will keep Miles sculpture from melting." Mika explained to Ray.
The ice sculpture was on a cart and ShoutOut and Volt had their faces but no one else did, yet.
"Too much hot makes ice go away..right?" Bose asked himself trying to think.
Mika turned to him and smiled. "Exactly right, buddy."
"I call it Mount-Us-More!" Miles proudly exclaimed and Delilah clapped while the others just smiled.
Ray turned to Miles confused. "Why in the Abominable Snowman did you make an ice sculpture?"
"Because he's going to enter the Quint Cities ice sculpting competition." Chapa pointed to Ray.
Ray looked shocked and shook his head. "The QCISC? Pfft! You're wasting your ice, pal. Rivalton's Archduke Fernando," He began and everyone looked down and spit on the floor. "Has won that contest for 20 years straight."
Mika, Miles, Delilah, Chapa and Bose looked at Ray and sighed, knowing the man was right.
Bose looked down at the floor, laughing. "Look! Our spit froze."
Everyone nodded, knowing it didn't take much to amuse Bose.
"You're right, but this year I think we've got the sculpture to stop him right in his show tracks. Am I right?!" Miles smiled, turning to his friends who nodded and he glared at them.
