Zyprexa: Antipsychotic Medication
Roy fumbled with the lid of the prescribed Zyprexa to find what was expected of an empty bottle. The
screeching got more blatant whilst he mismanaged through the medicine cabinet trying to calm his breathing.
Finding nothing but first aid requirements, he closed the cabinet. Climbing into the bathtub, he clasped his
sweating hands over his ears as his back pressed into the chilled wall. Holding only his sanity, his breath hitched
as the screeching stopped, allowing the silence to engulf Roy.
A painstaking hour passed of Roy sitting in the silence of his bathroom, straining his ears for the
screeching of an unknown entity. The sun lightened the tiles of the floor as its presence began to be known
coming over the horizon, breaking the sky of its darkness. Waiting another hour for the sun to fully peak over the
border of the earth, he hoisted himself up from the tub, the palm of his hands pressing against the wall. Groaning
as his back grew accustomed to the free-range of motion. His shoal breathing continues as he tried not to make a
sound. The door made little to no sound as he opened it hearing nothing not even a spur from the apartment room
24.
Checking the whole room of the apartment twice even looking out the fire exit he made his way to the
kitchen and grabbed a glass. As he turned on the faucet, a knock could be heard from the whole apartment.

Freezing and turning off the water, he turned toward the door. Another series of knocks broke the awkward
silence. Grasping a knife from a drawer to his right, he steadies his breath and took a step toward the living room.
Fingering the knife in his hand, a shadow pledged the corner of the room watching him with ease. Fighting back
the courage to run the black entity swallowed him whole clasping his hand leading him to the door.
The apartment grew dark, he felt discordant as he felt as he was floating. The door of the apartment swung
open. All his eyes could recognize was a human face contorted to unrecognizable depth. Blood ran down the
face of the being as he tried to scream not even a mere notice of vocal cords were used as a half breath out
escaped his cold lips. The same screech he heard from last night could be heard as the being in his doorway
came close with chains wrapped tightly around his ankles and wrists. A blue bracelet hung off his wrist
motionlessly. Blood dripping down the chains and dripped on the blue carpet of the living room.
"Apartment 24 is the only apartment open," the manager looked at the newly weed married couple.
"We'll take that one-"
"Are you sure, the last guy who lived there went missing and has yet to be found"
"We'll take our chances," The male said, grabbing the keys from the manager's hand.

The employee behind the desk smiled and shown them to their room, allowing them to go first with the
signal of his right hand.
"Nice bracelet" The female complimented the man and got a nice smile with teeth showing as a "Thank You".
