Tahimik kaming dalawa ng bumalik sa loob. Nakikita at nararamdaman ko naman ang titig sa amin habang naglalakad. Hindi na rin iyon nakakapanibago sa akin. Kalmado lang naman akong naglakad.

Napapaisip na rin ako kung bakit ang tahimik niya ngayon. Nasa likod ko ito. Ni hindi sumabay sa akin sa paglalakad o kung nauna man lang.

It was kinda new to me since Kly have always been talkative. He would be this quiet if it is really needed and important. I turn my head to look at him, quite in my peripheral vision whenever I'm doubting his reaction earlier. And when we were at the hallway near where the party was held, I couldn't fathom that for a little while, Kly could change like this since I'm used to him who teases and talks a lot. Even with his noble friends.

I paused with my tracks and turned to face him who was about one step closer to me. I saw how he froze.

"Okay ka lang?" kumunot ang noo ko dito. "Ang tahimik mo na naman at nasa likuran pa kita ngayon, ah?"

I don't like the way he's taciturn.

"I'm just... Never mind. You should continue heading there to your family. Lalayo lang ako sa'yo at hindi na kita susundan kapag nandoon na tayo... Just. Remember the plan that I told you. You also said that it isn't complicated." He firmly uttered with finality.

"Uh, yeah right." I grinned. "Oh, by the way, are you staying here longer? Like until this is over?"

"Hmm..." nag iisip. "Perhaps... This bridal shower won't take me too long to stay. Manatili tayo sa lugar kung nasaan tayo didiretso sa loob. Maraming magtataka. Maayos ang kaninang sitwasyon. Sa ngayong pagbalik natin, hindi na."

"You're right. I must stay distant but... can we talk for a minute before we part? I don't have someone to talk to, now that Catherine is with her known friends and I think, they're not here? They had gone somewhere. Kaibigan din kasi nito ang pinsan ko."

Catherine was one of the casual friends that I'm more comfortable to talk with aside from Kly which is a guy and we're close enough even though we barely know everything about ourselves in circumstances. And, Catherine is more of a talker not only things about her experiences in royals but also personal which I don't usually ask but she keeps talking about it. Maybe to vent on. I call it casual 'cuz we barely do see each other and we don't have any communications unlike Kly whom I met before the day I became a debutante.

"You look fine. Like I said, Relia."

I nodded. Yeah, he was right. Kahit na minsan kapag magkikita at mag uusap ay kung kailan lang din uusbong ang pagiging matino nito.

"Hm,"

"Now, go. You go enter first," senyas niya.

Naging magaan naman ang pakiramdam ko dahil mukhang hindi naman ito ganoon ka tahimik. Siguro dahil papasok kami at kailangang tahimik para hindi halatang magkasama kami nito. Nilingon ko si Kly ng isang tingin bago tumungo na rin.

Sa pagkabalik kong iyon ay hindi na rin ako nagulat nang makitang mas dumami ang naririto, ang kaibahan lamang ay ang mga naririto ay kakilala at kaibigan ng pamilya namin. Ngayon lang uli naging ganito. I even run into Athair's several noble friends. One of them was Willow, who just winked and greeted.

"You sure look fine, Princess but I hope you know that most of us aren't-" lumapit ito at bumulong, "that stupid. We know you refuse to this wedding too. We also confronted Cathal about this but your Athair wouldn't listen. I hope there's someone who could help..."
