september 8th - 9.00 am
SARAH'S POV
I wake up and look at my phone: it's 9.00 am. God my head hurts. I turn to see if Sky's still sleeping. She's not here. I take my phone and I notice there's a note next to my phone
Sorry I left without saying anything but I have to be at work in a hour and an half and I didn't want to wake you up. THANK YOU so much for everything, you've been to kind to me. I look forward to watch that sunset at your house.
Sky
I smile as I read the note. Yeah I look forward to that too. I put on a pair of shorts and go downstairs.
"Hey" I say to Cate and Sandy
"Hey! Come your girlfriend cooked pancakes to thank us for letting her stay" Cate says waving the note Sky left to her
" Paulson I'm telling you, I don't know about lasagna, but these pancakes are heaven on earth" Sandy says and Cate laughs
"Yeah whatever" I roll my eyes and sit next to Sandy, with Cate in front of me
"So Paulson how's the sex" Cate says smirking
"Really Blanket?" I say
"Come on we wanna know!" Sandy whines
"Nothing happened, she just held my hand"
"She just held your hand?"
"Yes Blanket, nothing happened. She said she likes sunsets so I told her to come at mine sometime so we can watch it , and this morning she wrote me that she looks forward to that"
"Ohhhh she looks forward to that" Sandy says and I smile
"Paulson is in loooove"
"I'm not in love Cate, I just really like her" I say and I feel I'm blushing so I change subject
"How are you Sandy?"
"I'll be okay. I have to go talk to Ryan in a couple of hours" Sandy says and I see Cate not being comfortable with the conversation
"Are you nervous?"
"Yeah, I don't know what to do. I love him"
"Ehm sorry" Cate says as she stands up and storms out of the room
"She was angry about me seeing him last night too"
"She just wants to protect you"
"I know, she let me sleep in her arms all night. I think her body went numb, she couldn't move all night becouse of me" she smiles and I see her eyes lit up as she tells me this.
Ok, there are two options here: either Sandy likes Cate but doesn't have the gut to tell her, or she still doesn't relize she has a thing for her, and well I think she will soon.
SANDRA'S POV
It's 10.30, I gotta go to my house to talk to Ryan. I'm so nervous. Cate's been in her bedroom sice she excused herself. I wanted to go check on her, but Sarah told me to let her alone for a while. I don't know why but I have the feeling they're not telling me something, but I don't have a clue of what it could be.
"I better be going"
"Are you sure you wanna go alone?"
"Yeah, don't worry I'll be fine. I'll go say bye to Cate" I say and Sarah nods. I knock at Cate's bedroom's door. I open it slowly and see Cate lying on the bed staring at the ceiling.
"Hey I'm gonna head off"
"Ok" Cate says still looking at the ceiling. I don't want her to be angry with me, but I just wanna hear what Ryan has to say. As I'm closing the door I hear her speak:
"Be safe" . My heart warms up at those words. She always cares so much about me, since the day we met.
"I will" I say smiling.
I say bye to Sarah and start to walk back home. I could call a taxi, but I'm too nervous I need to relieve the tension in some way. I arrive home and stare at the door for 10 minutes: I don't know if I wanna see him. I'm actually scared to go in. I finally open the door and see Ryan on the couch. Tears immediately start to fall off my eyes:
"Hey" Ryan says in a sweet voice and starts to walk towards me
"Please don't touch me" I say putting my hands in front of me.
"Ok...ok. Please listen. I love you Sandy. Yesterday we finished shooting and we decided to go grab a drink. That girl kissed me right when you saw us"
"Why didn't you tell me you were going out with your friends? I don't wanna control you, but I'd just like to know "
"I totally forgot to text you I'm sorry. You know I love you. I always make sure you're okay, where you are, that you dress properly. I'd never hurt you"
"I can't stop picturing you with her Ryan" I say. I'm still crying and I can't stop."I always felt so safe with you Ryan, but I don't trust you anymore".
It's true, he always makes sure that I'm okay, but after what I felt last night with Cate... I don't know it made me think. I felt in a way I never did; safe in a way that Ryan never made me feel. I mean me and Cate are best friends, but we've never been as close as last night. I didn't want to let her go for any reason. Shouldn't I feel this way with Ryan?
"I'll gain your trust again baby" he says and comes closer to kiss me.
"Marry me, I want you to be mine" he whispers.
"Yes" I say kissing his soft lips again
