The Search For Dave - Part 1

Saturday Afternoon, 2pm
At Dave's House

It had been two weeks now since Dave had being missing

The last time the Chipmunks and Chipettes saw Dave was the Friday night when Dave said bye to them before going out to play badminton

However, Dave did not return that Friday night and the Chipmunks and Chipettes have been looking for him ever since

Theodore and Eleanor had just walked into the living room and sat with their siblings

"Any luck guys?" asked Jeanette

"No, nothing...we checked with the police and looked around the music studio where Dave works on our songs. But we didn't find anything" replied Eleanor in a sad voice

"What do we do now?" asked Theodore

"Not sure, without any leads or clues to Dave's disappearance it's hard to find him" explained Simon

"You don't think Dave is...gone do you?" asked Alvin in a worried voice

"I...I don't know. But until we know otherwise, Dave is alive and awaiting our rescue" said Simon remaining positive

Brittany gave Alvin a hug and whispered to him "We will find Dave alive and well, I promise"

After half an hour of the six of them thinking and discussing possible locations, Alvin had a thought

"Hey, what about Mr Mortu?" said Alvin

"Who is that?" asked Brittany

"That man that booked us to sing at that music party. It was full of posh looking people and he had a great time talking to us and Dave. Maybe he knows something about Dave's disappearance" explained Alvin

"We don't know much about him though, how will we find someone we don't know much about?" asked Eleanor

"Me and Jeanette will look online and will let you know if we find anything" Simon jumped in

After a bit of searching online, Simon had found the place where Mr Mortu works

"Guys, I found out where Mr Mortu works. Maybe we can find him at work and speak to him" called Simon

"How did you find him online?" asked Brittany

"Alvin said about the party we went too for him, so I looked into that article online and found out he is a manager at an office building called the Unison Tower just down town" replied Simon

"Let's go and see him then. I hope he has some answers for us" replied Alvin

The Chipmunks and Chipettes all walked down to the Unison Tower

Before entering, Simon suggested him and Jeanette go inside to ask to see Mr Mortu on there own

The others agreed and Simon and Jeanette went inside

The pair jumped on the desk and spoke to the receptionist

"Hi, my name is Simon and this is Jeanette. We was hop to speak to Mr Mortu if possible?" asked Simon

"Mr Mortu doesn't take personal visits, he is a very busy man. I'm afraid you will have to book an appointment to see him" replied the receptionist

"Can't he come out for 5 minutes? We just want to ask him a few questions related to our missing father" asked Jeanette?

The receptionist eyes glowed green for a second before the receptionist stood up

"No, I'm sorry he isn't available right now. You will have to leave and come back another day with an appointment" replied the receptionist

Simon and Jeanette left the building and met with the others

"We can't meet Mr Mortu by asking reception. We will have to sneak inside the building instead" said Simon

"How do we do that?" asked Brittany

"We cut a hole in a window round the back of the building" said Jeanette

The six of them went to a side window towards the back of the building and Simon tried cutting a hole in the window

However, nothing was happening. The blade they were using wasn't even scratching the surface

"This is no ordinary glass. I can't get close to cutting through a window" admited Simon in a surprised voice

"Now what do we do?" asked Theodore

"we find another way inside. Walk around the building and we will let each other know if we find a way inside" replied Simon

The six split up and looked for a way inside

After 20 minutes of looking, Eleanor had found a way inside

"Hey guys, this window isn't solid. It's a hologram looking like a window" called Eleanor

They all grouped together and Alvin put his arm through the hologram

"Hey your right. That's our way inside" said Alvin

"Who would put a hologram of a window on the outside of an office building?" asked Jeanette

"Someone who wants this place to look normal..." replied Simon

Alvin jumped through the holographic window and was inside the building

Simon Theodore and the Chipettes followed Alvin inside

Once they were all inside the building Alvin tried the door out of the room

Alvin looked around and saw an empty corridor with lots of doors on the opposite side of the corridor to what he was on

Alvin run across the corridor to look at another room and was surprised at what he saw

"Hey guys, look over here. This is so weird!" called Alvin
