He lay on his couch; his hand tangled in the hair of another. Only one tonight, she seemed eager to give him whatever he wanted. He smirked, when a pull in his mind had him stopping abruptly. Pushing off the demoness, he got up. What the? He moved to the end of the smoky room towards the large window, something wasn't right.

"Lucifer..." She moaned. "M'lord, where are you going?"

He glared at her. "Wherever I want. Now get out of my sight." She stepped back in fear and got up and left.

"Would m'lord require me again soon?" She asked at the door. His anger grew.

"When I require something, I take it. When I don't I discard it; now leave." He said, the dominating fire in his eyes had her recide quickly into the shaddows. He turned back to look out at the city. What was that? Opening the window, he smirked; time for some fun. With that he leaped out and glided through the shaddows towards the strange entity.

Meanwhile, Lia sat in class frustrated at the lack of energy there. The teacher look bored, the students looked bored the atmosphere was just exhausted. Then her friend, Jen, tapped her shoulder.

"Lia, check that out." Jen gestured to the left of them. Leila turned to see Josh and Bentley, the two guy friends she was unfortunate enough to have, signalling toward the front door.

"They want us to go somewhere?" Lia asked turning back to Jen.

"Josh texted me, he's asked if we were up to ditch class and crash at their place." She said. She gave her a look and she quickly added. "We could study this there."

"Come on Jen, we both know there won't be any 'study' there." Lia said rolling her eyes "And we're already so behind with all the assignments."

"Well we're not learning anything here. If we wanna waste another good hour, why not his place?" She reasoned. "The others are going too. Please??"

Lia shook her head with a smile. "Okay we'll see. I need to finish reading this chapter, then I'll head over to Josh's." She agrees.

"Great!" She said excitedly, keeping her voice low. "Let's go." They made their way out of class as subtly as they could. The professor seemed to throw them a cold glare as they left, to which she gave an apologetic shrug. They got out towards the fountain area surrounded by greenery. No matter what other faults the uni had, it had the most beautiful scenery.

"So Lia, you decided to join us." Josh smirked. She shook her head.

"In a bit. I'll come over in half an hour or so."

"That's a beautiful necklace." He said gesturing towards the blood red pendant hanging at her neck. She touched it lightly and smiled.

"Glad you like it." She replied politely. He reached out as if to touch it but then stopped suddenly with a grimace.

"Where'd you get it?" He asked

"Gift." She replied simply. "Well you guys have fun."

He frowned. "You're gonna study here?"

Lia nodded. "Just for a bit."

"Oh." He pouted making her smirk. "Well don't be too long."

"I won't." She says giving him a friendly nod farewell before turning towards the forest felt benches. After loud exchanged farewells she moved to a small isolated bench by the lake and put down her books to start her stupid readings - ugh. She was flipping through the pages of her biology book, when her attention fell to pendant in her necklace. It was rather pretty, but mysterious. It for sure wasn't an ordinary pendant.
