Chapter 10 - Alone In Chaos

Edward was chopping vegetables for supper. "Hey what are you gonna cook for supper Edward?" Chara asked. "Something with vegetables but also meat." Edward answered. "Ah cool, what kind of meat are you gonna use?" Chara asked. "Nothing human that's for sure." Edward joked. "Haha yeah nothing monsters eat right?" Chara joked too. "Something smells delicious." Fiora said sniffing the air.

"It's Edward's cooking and joking too." Chara said. "What was his joke about?" Fiora asked. "Nothing much except the meat he's gonna use won't be human meat." Chara said. "What kind of meat will it be?" Zera asked. Edward rubbed his eyes thinking he was asleep and he's dreaming but it was real... was it? "Yeah what kind of meat is it Edward?" Fiora asked.

When Edward was cutting vegetables he sliced what he though was a carrot but saw blood on the knife. "Why is there blood on the knife?" Fiora asked. Edward hit the board away as it hit showing a carrot-like monster and blood splattered on the floor. "No way, a Vegetoid?" Zera asked. "Looks like it no matter what." Chara said. I thought there were only monsters able to visit this area." Fiora said in concern. "I guess you thought wrong." A voice said. "I know that voice from anywhere." Edward said.

"Well hello frikin murderers." The voice belong to a skeleton coming out a portal near the wall. "Sans! Time to rid the world of you!" Chara said. "Look at him carefully Chara!" Edward shouted. Chara observed the Sans and he was holding his brother's head with blood on it and him having a tattered hoodie and cracked skull. "No way he's not the Sans I know." Chara said.

"Right you are kid!" Sans warped to Chara with a bone in his hands covered in blood. "Chara!!" Edward. Next thing you know it they spat out blood. They fall to floor still alive but hurt.

"You Monster!" Fiora yelled out running to Chara but real carefully. Zera was freezing the room around Sans making sure not to freeze the injured one down. "Got you Chara." Fiora said grabbing the injured human demon.

"No you don't!" Sans said but was soon shot with a icicle so he dodged. "Thanks Zera." Fiora thanked running away from the skeleton with the human demon in her arms.

"Quick freeze the wound they've taken before we lose them." Edward said worrying about the ones he saved. Zera was cooling the wound on Chara before their soul was almost shattered.

"Think you can get away with killing do you?!" Sans asked. "There's a reason why I keep killing others in other Alternate Universes!" Edward shouted. "Oh and why is that you dirty brother killer!?" Sans asked.

"It's useless telling a monster like you with no feelings hell this must be a Nightmare setting Zera is alive and can be seen by the others without my help to show them!" Edward said out loud. "Say tell me or they all die with you!" Sans yelled threatenly. That threat is what almost ticked Edward off.

"You know for a bag of bones you sure throw death threats very stupidly you idiot." Edward said silently. "What was that? I couldn't hear you with the blood in my ears!" Sans said. "Funny I never knew skeletons had ears." Edward said sarcastically. "You made a horrible mistake there kid!" Sans said threateningly throwing a bone at Edward which he dodged.

"Go ahead try to kill me, I am always gonna move away no matter what." Edward taunted the skeleton. "I might as well take out your friends if you care about them that much!" Sans shouted targeting the humans. Edward stared then disappeared to the attacks but Chara was the first to get hit again.

Everyone was in shock as Chara fell to floor. "Chara!" Fiora yelled running to the human demon. Zera was checking for a pulse on them but felt nothing. "No." Zera said. "They're dead." They continued. "No." Fiora said. "And you're next!" Sans shouted out of surprise. A bone hit Fiora at full force and drove them to the wall. "Augh!" Fiora shouted in pain. "Fiora! Edward do you care your friends are being targeted!?" Zera asked the Nephilim.

Edward just stared in emptiness. "Edward are you there?" Zera asked. Edward said nothing his eyes are just blank in emptiness. "You too kid will go down for the murderous deeds you did!" Sans said shooting bones killing Zera as he did Fiora. "Now just you need to die too!" Sans said targeting Edward but little did he know he triggered a horrible nightmare.

Edward laughed maniacally. "You know you shouldn't have done that." Edward said laughing. "What? What do you mean I killed your little friends, why are you laughing?" Sans asked. "Haha what you did was take their SOULs out there bodies, you can see they haven't broke yet!" Edward dashed to Sans and attacked the skeleton. "What the, that speed!?" Sans asked in question. "It's cause the one who brought them back in none other than for my chaotic purposes!" Edward said dashing towards Sans again at the same paranormal speed.

"Augh!" Sans was hurt. "How can I top that speed?" Sans asked. "It's easy, you don't!" Edward dashed again attacking the skeleton again. "What did I unleashed?" Sans asked. "Don't worry this is just a bad dream." Edward said attacking the skeleton over and over until he got Sans to his last health. "Spare me!" Sans said raising his arms. "Spare? Ha! Did you spare your brother when you killed him!?" Edward asked eyes glowed a dark silver color. "Uh no." Sans said. "Correct you prize is death!" Edward slashed the skeleton and then woke up to a voice.

'Edward!' Zera screamed out loud. When he woke his eyes flashed a dark silver color but went back to normal when he shook his head. "What is it Zera?" Edward asked. 'You were laughing in your sleep and it was creepy.' Zera said. "Oh sorry I guess it was another nightmare where I got out of hand." Edward said scratching his head. "Sorry." He apologized. 'Just hopefully next time it won't get out of hand.' Zera said. "It won't hopefully." Edward said laying back down.
