As the morning started the Nephilim's stomach growled but he was brushing his teeth and the spirit was still sleeping. "Hey better wake up you can't sleep all day you know." Edward said with the toothbrush in his mouth. The spirit of a taken was lying asleep but they mumbled 'why let me sleep a bit longer.' Edward scoffed. "No, wake up now or no breakfast for you!" He argued. 'Breakfast? Is it morning?' They asked. "Yes it's morning so wake up and help me cook what's left of the food for left over lunch." Edward said. 'Ok I'm coming.' They said.
The two went to ask to use the kitchen in the inn and the manager let him. 'So what are you gonna make?' They asked. "My dear Zera I'll be making Blueberry Pancakes." Edward said. 'Oh I love blueberries a lot, even though they stain my mouth dark blue.' Zera said. Edward laughed but he recovered. "Wow I guess you don't like dark blue that much." He said. 'I like light blue just not dark okay?' Zera complained. "Oh, at least my SOUL is Silver but don't ask why it's upside down like MAGIC SOULS." Edward said. 'Is it because you're also made using magic?' Zera asked. "No my father is a demon he has a SOUL but it's also filled with lots of magic." Edward explained. 'But what about your mother?' Zera asked. "My mom is an Angel the ones that's can fly but I haven't met my father even since I became one years old." Edward said fighting back the tears. 'You remember that much?' Zera asked. No I couldn't remember when I was born." Edward said. 'Well I'll help in every way I can.' Zera said. "Ok thanks." Edward thanked.
As the two went to cook Edward was chopping the left over berries and Zera was getting the berries and putting it to get chopped. "Okay next pour the mix into a pan as I cut the last of the blueberries." Edward said. 'Ok but do they really need to be cut?' Zera asked. "Well if you want whole berries which are big." Edward said. 'Ok I get it' Zera said flipping a pancake with chopped blueberries in it. "Okay we're almost done cooking the food." Edward said putting the oven to simmer. 'It's weird when I used to grab things I just phase through it but now I can grab things and have no trouble.' Zera said amazed. "It's cause of me, my mother gives me the power of seen through life which makes you visible to everyone, Humans and Monsters." Edward explained. 'but what about feelings?' Zera asked. "I don't know, probably my pops is the one that does that." Edward wondered. 'Oh.' Zera said.
When the food was finished Edward put the left rest of the left overs that wasn't eaten neatly in his bag. 'That was delightful, thanks Edward.' Zera thanked. "It was nothing, I added a little spice to make it more delectable to spirits." Edward said. 'Oh what is it?' Zera asked. "It's mostly like ginger ale but different." Edward said. 'Oh, so you don't know the name?' Zera asked. "Pretty much sorry." Edward apologized. 'I think it was something known as honey but what I can't remember the others' Edward thought to himself.
As the two moved onward they entered a cave in the mountains and Edward Determinated some monsters along the way. 'Phew let's see, Asgore is gone, Blueberry Sans is gone, I wonder what ever happened to Napstablook's replacement?' Edward wondered. 'I just think how long are we gonna be in the dark?' Zera asked. "Should be getting to be light but I think we should take a break in a bit." Edward said. 'Yeah.' Zera replied. The two went walked a bit until they spot a house to take a break in.
*In the house
'You must be getting tired walking all the way here.' Zera said worried. "Nah I'm good, I am part wolf so I got tons of energy." Edward said. "Come to think of it isn't it a bit to hot in here?" Edward asked. 'I don't know but I see you dripping with sweating.' Zera pointed out. "This heat is getting my fur wild up." Edward said getting agitated. 'Here hold my hand.' Zera demanded. "Ok, I trust you." Edward said grabbing the spirit's hand. When he did he was cooled down. "Ahh thanks but i wonder why is it hot in here?"
As they walk on Edward and Zera heard whispers saying "You know humans always throw pretty good things down but really?" And "They are pretty worthless to be wasting these perfectly good things." Edward and Zera came to a stop but to hear and se something ahead. "You know what humans end up doing?" silence... "They waste the best food that was known to all kind!"
A monster who's made of fire. He wears hypno glasses, a blue suit, a yellow shirt with a pink tie bow, blue pants and yellow pointed shoes came into sight. "Well I always wanted to fight a Grillby and Extinguish his flame. "You know you got rid of my best customer ever before I used to be a loser but then Blueberry cheered me up with his brother Carrot then they found someone for me." Grillby said. "You do know what's Fire Monsters are weak against right?" Edward said. "Yes but I made sure the room is so hot it evaporates any water that's in it." Grillby taunted. "But what about the water in humans or creatures." Edward said sticking out his tongue. "But the room will evaporate it the only water in here is in ba-" Before he could finish Edward got a cup of water. "Where did you get that?" Grillby asked. LFrom the back and now here I bet you're thirsty drink up." Edward threw water in the cup on Grillby and he then vanished and Edward collected the essence and got out of the house and sat down.
'Well that was a easy FIGHT but oh well.' Zera said. "I've dealt with him once in another AU." Edward mentioned. 'Oh well let's take a break.' Zera said stretching their arms. "Yeah I bet I got to get ready to face against Undyne's replacement in a while." Edward said wiping the sweat off his head.
