The sounds of birds chirping through the window made tsukishima woke up, as he awoken someone is knocking at the door.

"Young master the king awaits you in the dining hall please do not keep him waiting you do know the king dispises people who keep him waiting."

"Im coming!! Give me a second to get ready!!"

"As you wish young master."

Tsukishima got up from his bed, wore his slippers, fixed up his hair trying to look as best as he can in the early morning.

He walks out of his room then goes to the dining hall as told by his maid,

"Ah son you have finally awoken" The king greeted his son.

"Yes father, I've heard from one of the maids that you have called me here to discuss about something?", tsukishima replied

Tsukishima took a seat besides his father

" Son.. I have decided that...you shall have an arranged marriage"

"... Pardon?" Tsukishima froze he didn't know what to say, for a second he felt like his whole world crumpled into little pathetic pieces.

"Yes.. I would like you to have an arranged marriage with princess Hitoka"

"...." He just sat there spacing out not really knowing what to do, in other words speechless.

"I want an arranged marriage with you and Hitoka because you know that your brother Akiteru has passed on to the heavens above and I myself have been suffering an illness for a long time now... It is almost my time to pass on too, my wish Is to see my only son alive and well with his own family to take care of."

Tsukishima got up from his seat and walked up to his room mindlessly.

He was hopeless he did not know what to do, he locked his room shut so no one could go in there. He sat on his bed replaying the things his father has said to him while staring into a blank wall.

He felt hopeless he did not know what to do, he figured he should take a short shower and then rest trying get some sleep to forget about the conversation he just had with his father.
