I hate people who critique so much. Like a woman got mad because in Hamilton most of the people who are in the original cast are people of color and they're going on to talk about the successes of white men with stuff Abt like slavery and everything and she didn't like it bc that could make people of color feel a certain way or something like that but it's like they didn't going into casting thinking I want all of the cast to be consisted of black and Latino people like they choose who they think is best fit for the role and just bc they're people of color it doesn't change the message or anything abt the show.
Sorry for the ranting but ppl urke me.
This isn't even like the first time Lin-Manuel Miranda has been getting back lash for his projects bc in his new movie In The Heights ppl were giving him back lash for the lack of Afro-Latino representation in the cast like dude it's a movie full of Hispanic and Latino representation.
Like there's probably more representation for Hispanic and Latinos in this movie than any other honestly. Like okay maybe he didn't include a few cultures but he can't do everything. And again with the casting. He wants Hispanic and Latino people obviously but he's not looking for like down to the dot.
UGH!!!! Sometimes I really dislike people. Like why can't you just enjoy it. Stop hating people and shows and movies and plays just because of one unpredictable factor.
I should go to bed. I'm never looking at articles before bed ever again because that one article just ticked me off.
