Chapter 3

Posted 20th of March 2015

"Shit, shit, fuck. Fuck!" Cameron stood up, wiping at his lap desperately. Luckily, by this point the turbulence had stopped.

After Sam snapped out of his trance, he grabbed a bundle of napkins from the side and thrust them towards Cameron.

"I'm so sorry!" Sam gasped, still in shock.

"Fucking bet-" Cameron stopped mid sentence as he turned to Sam. "Shit. Hi."

"Fucking hi?! Is that all I fucking get after 4 years of absolute silence?!" Sam had finally gotten over the initial shock, and pure rage flowed through his veins.

"Sam. I'm sorry. Calm down." Cameron rushed, feeling uncomfortable.

"Fucking calm down! Hahah!" Sam laughed bitterly, glaring at Cameron.

"Please." Cameron pleaded.

"Did you just plan on sitting here, say nothing and leaving me to think you were dead?!" Sam cried, finally feeling relief wash over him. Cameron wasn't dead!

"Sam, you're making a scene. Please stop." Cameron bargained.

"You're not dead!" Sam exclaimed, waving his arms.

"Samuel, be quiet!" Cameron yelled, Sam immediately quietening down.

By this point, the two had gained the attention of everyone on the plane, which made them both extremely uncomfortable.

Sam hated being called by his full name, and Cameron knew that. Cameron remembered everything about Sam. Every teeny little detail. But what he remembered most was how his kisses felt. They made Cameron feel as though he was safe.

You wouldn't be wrong in thinking something was going on between Cam and Sam before the split of Asking Alexandria. They weren't exactly dating, but they weren't simply friends.

Friends with benefits, you could say.

But there were feelings involved. Many feelings. Feelings only Cameron felt. Or so he thought. Sam was also in love with Cameron, but liked people to think he wasn't. Sam liked people to think he was completely straight. Mind you, he wasn't gay either. You could say bisexual, but he had never met another man he was attracted to. He was Camsexual.

"I'm sorry." Cameron spoke quietly, his arms now around Sam.

"Me too." Sam shut his eyes, resting his head on Cameron's shoulder.

"I didn't mean to worry you.." Cameron tried, unsure as to how to continue the sentence.

"You did, a fuck load. You worried everyone." Sam mused, his eyes still closed.

"I'm sorry."

Sam took his head off of Cameron's shoulder, "It's okay.. Just.. Please don't disappear again."

"I promise."

It was then that Sam noticed how uncomfortable the man on the end of the row was, and he tried to stifle his laughter.

Cameron burrowed his eyebrows in confusion, but he soon caught on. And he laughed also.

Once the two had gotten over the fact the man in the end of the row looked like a dying fish, Sam couldn't look away from Cameron's face.

It was him. It was actually him. He wasn't dead. He looked very much alive.

"You're actually here." Sam spoke almost inaudibly, reaching out timidly to touch Cameron's cheek.

"Yeah," Cameron blushed, and leant into Sam's touch.

"I can't believe it.. It's been so long.." Sam had tears in his eyes by now, and Cameron felt his own eyes grow wet.

"Well I'm here.. And I'm not going anywhere.."

Throughout the entire conversation, the two had been moving closer and closer, their faces now mere inches apart.

"Good." Sam breathed out, only now noticing how close their faces were.

Cameron also seemed to notice as he glanced down at Sam's lips, oblivious to Sam who was doing the same. Their eyes connected and they both seemed to be asking a silent question.

Cameron's eyes flicked down to Sam's once more before he closed the gap.

Sam immediately kissed back, his mind going into overdrive.

Holy shit. HOLY SHIT. For the first time in 4 fucking years Sam was kissing Cameron. And it felt just as great. It felt natural, and both of them could vouch for that.

Sam brought his other hand up and cupped Cameron's face, somehow bringing him even closer.

If the man on the end was uncomfortable before, you sure as hell didn't want to see him now. He looked like the offspring of a fly and a fish out of water. A dirty, floppy thingy that had no business being there.

Cameron pulled away, resting his forehead against Sam's. Sam kept his eyes closed for a few more seconds, dropping his hands to his sides.

"Well, hi." Cameron grinned, his eyes locked with Sam's. Sam blushed a deep red.

"Hi."
