The Lost Flower

I'M IN LOVE?

They say that love can make or break a person. Psychologist believe that love is generated from nerve impulses generated by the neurons in the brain. Love's opposite (Hate) also has the same effect on a person. But at that very moment Aidan felt something that he had never felt before. It was if he unlocked a new perspective of life as he gazed into Tiffany's eyes as the sun rose." I think it's time for school Tiffany." said Aidan, "No just a moment longer you weasel! and close the blind or I'm going to hit you!" she replied. He dragged her out of bed so she could freshen up and have breakfast. Aidan presented  the scrumptious looking  bacon, eggs and ham in front of Tiffany. She looked at it with tears in her eyes saying "It looks so good, I'm so happy right now, Thanks Aidan!" "No problem at all, eat up stud muffin. I mean Tiffany" he replied happily. 

She smiled and ate the food while looking at Aidan, her face was pink and her lips were shining from the oil. Off they went to school, this time arriving on time. Everyone was talking about them, assuming that they were a couple. They even went over to their desk to ask but all accusations were shut down immediately.

Meanwhile, Brith was orchestrating a brand new plan to severely injure or kill Aidan. He was talking to the leader of the Shibu gang. The Shibu gang is the largest teenager gang in the West side of town that often involved themselves in illegal drug trafficking and surprisingly murder. Legend says that the leader possessed inhumane powers that made him into a monster.

"Hey, I'm sorry for bullying you before, I didn't know you were such a magnanimous guy. To repay you let me take you to the West side of town, they say it's the best side!" said Brith to Aidan .

It's okay, I forgive you and let's go after school. Replied Aidan.

Brith was not aware that Aidan had already read his mind to see his plan.
So for the sake of fun he accepted his apology and request.

*School was now over*

Brith:  "Wow the trees here are really nice and this part of town reminds me of my visits to my grandmother."

Aidan: " Didn't ask all of that but okay."

They both went quiet as they arrived at  a sketchy warehouse in the ghetto part of town. Brith asked Aidan to wait outside and to give him five minutes. Aidan could see five men standing behind the wall armed with weapons. At this point he could've ran away like any other normal person but Aidan was not normal. In Aidan's mind normal was boring and had no spice to it. Brith came out of the building  and suddenly ten men appeared behind him along with five more in front. 

  Brith shouted " I got you exactly where I wanted! You are really stupid for thinking I will be your friend after all the times I beat the shid out of you."

Aidan laughed for about one minute straight, then he said " One thing you got wrong. I knew about your plan way before we got here. I just came because I was bored. So when do we get started? Are you going to kidnap me? Kill me? Sell me off? I can't wait to see what you are going to do. Ahh, the rush, the ecsatsy, you're all killing me with excitement.

Brith replied " Kill him!"

All the gang members present at the scene shouted out " With pleasure Cuh."

Aidan jumped into the air and grabbed one of them, smashing their face into the ground then he threw him aside like a dirty sock. Fear was now instilled in the blood of the members except those who were blessed by Hermes. As they walked towards him the ground started to break and all windows were shattered. Their power together was overwhelmingly intimidating but Aidan still found them quite funny and weak. One shapeshifted into Tiffany  and tried to make him weak but this did not phase him. He picked up a nearby bat and he threw it towards the shapeshifter. He was knocked out from the impact and he started to bleed. All the gang members showed immense power, so strong that the entire neighborhood was in a uproar. Aidan single handedly took down all the members there and he was standing at the center of the street with their strongest member in his hand. His eyes left a purple pigment as he walked. Brith stood there not saying a word until a light flashed before their eyes. Hermes appeared to speak to Brith. He said "If you really want to kill him join me, allow me to take control of your body, mind and soul!" Brith accepted the request and he fell to the ground due to the new power. As Hermes ascended he grinned at Aidan sinisterly, Aidan smiled back and left the scene leaving Brith behind on the ground.   

This was all recorded by an off duty rookie police that was too scared to intervene. He lodged the video at the station but it was put off as fake and normal. But suspicion arose from this incident, sub consciously the chief thought Aidan was a monster or even  demon.

"Tiffany, meet me at the regular spot." said Aidan over the phone. She responded "I'll be there in atleast five minutes!"

At the bridge they sat to talk about multiple issues and problems that they had faced over the year.

Tiffany: "Sometimes I feel like I'm trapped in a huge bubble and I cannot escape, it's like I'm grasping for air."

Aidan: "Lately, my life had been put in danger more than I could count and its really frustrating. In the process I don't want to lose any of my loved one's."

Tiffany and Aidan in sync: " We got this and we will always have each other's back." Tiffany leaned on Aidan's shoulder as tears came to her eyes. Aidan consoled her with a huge hug saying "I got you, I got you."

Tiffany then stated :"I'm sorry Aidan but I won't be able to build more memories with you because I'm leaving for Canada, to live with my mother away from my father. I don't want to leave you here alone but I don't have a choice. I leave next week."

An expression of sadness overcame Aidan, all the possibilities were now crushed. His push and drive was now leaving and he couldn't do anything about it.

He hugged her tightly and he began to cry.  He then said "You can't  leave me here, my life has changed so much with you in it and you are now  part of me. Please don't leave me, I'll be lonely again."

Tiffany replied " I like you Aidan but I can't disobey my mother's request."

I like you too Tiffany and you leaving is heartbreaking! shouted Aidan.

Tiffany let him go and she walked away making a final statement " It's best to let go of all romantic feelings, they'll only hurt you in the long run. Bye Aidan see you at school tomorrow."
