A month of impatient waiting later, and the day had finally arrived.

Cassia had had trouble sleeping the night before, her mind racing with excited thoughts of Hogwarts, and yet she still sprang out of bed in the morning.

Her trunk was in the corner of her room, packed and ready. It had been packed for about a week already.

She dressed quickly, darting to the kitchen.

"Cassia, do you have all of your things packed?" her mother asked, rubbing sleep out of her eyes.

"Of course! I've had it packed for a while, actually," Cassia smiled.

"Go ahead and check again for me, okay? I want you to have everything you need," her mother replied, placing her hand on her shoulder happily.

Cassia nodded and went to her bedroom, popping open her trunk. Clothes...books...Wizard's Chess set...it was all there.

She sat on her bed again, looking around her room. It would be a while before she saw it again, at least until Christmas, unless she decided to stay at the castle. Her light purple walls, her dragonfly quilt, her posters of the various Muggle bands that her father introduced her to. She wondered why she hadn't thought to bring her posters.

She got up, pulled the thumb tacks out of the wall, and rolled up her The Beatles poster, putting it carefully in her trunk.

"Cassia! Will!" her mother shouted from the hallway. "Are you ready to go?"

Cassia got her trunk and rushed out of her room, disappointed she couldn't grab the rest of her posters. Her parents stood by the door, smiling tiredly.

"Got everything, Cassia?" her mother beamed. "Let's — uh...where's Will?"

She walked down the hallway, knocking on Will's door.

"Will!" her mother yelled, knocking loudly. "Will! We have to go!"

Cassia stood with her father, waiting for her mother to wake Will up and head out.

"I'm bringing my Beatles poster to Hogwarts," Cassia said, smiling at her father.

"Really?" he asked, smiling down at her. "That's nice, Cassia. It'll be good to have some decorations in those dormitories. Make it your own. You'll have some witches asking who they are, though. No wizards in your room, though, right?"

"Obviously," Cassia giggled.

She could hear her mother scolding Will for not packing before. After a moment, she left his room quickly, with Will following, looking desperately tired.

"If you had just thought to pack yesterday or last night, we wouldn't be running late! Come on, everyone, to the fireplace. We've still got to meet the Weasleys and make it onto the platform," her mother said, frustratedly.

They all moved quickly to the fireplace, grasping a handful of Floo powder and appearing in a hidden fireplace at King's Cross Station. Their father grabbed two carts and loaded Will and Cassia's things onto them. They pushed them through the station, moving as quickly as they could. They caught up to the Weasleys, who were rushing just as they had been.

"I'm so sorry, Molly. We've had a bit of a late start this morning. I hope we didn't drag you behind," Wendy said as they hurried through the train station, panicked.

"Oh no! Not at all. We were having a bit of a late start ourselves," she said, shooting Ron a frustrated look.

"Did you oversleep again?" Cassia asked Ron, walking next to him as they pushed their carts.
