"It sucks in here," Cassia said, looking around at Moaning Myrtle's bathroom where they were once again situated.
Hermione smartly got Professor Lockhart to sign a note requesting 'Moste Potente Potions' from the library, allowing them to read a potion recipe for Polyjuice Potion. The three of them were crouched over the damp pages.
"Yes, but we're least likely to be caught here," Hermione said. "Here it is," she beamed, pointing to the page.
"Looks complicated," Cassia said.
"The most complicated I've ever seen," Hermione replied. "Lacewing flies, leeches, fluxweed, and knotgrass. Well, they're easy enough, they're in the student store cupboard, we can help ourselves....Ooh, look, powdered horn of a bicorn - don't know where we're going to get that - shredded skin of a boomslang - that'll be tricky, too - and of course a bit of whoever we want to change into."
"Excuse me?" Ron snapped. "What d'you mean, a bit of whoever we're changing into? I'm drinking nothing with Crabbe's toenails in it-"
Hermione continued barrelling through her observations.
"We don't have to worry about that yet, though, because we add those bits last..."
"This is a weird potion," Cassia retorted.
"And we're going to have to steal so much," Harry said worriedly. "Shredded skin of a boomslang is definitely not in the cupboard. What're we going to do, break into Snape's private stores? I don't know if this is a good idea..."
"I can cast a pretty good invisibility spell," Cassia said. "Don't know if it works on people though. But anyways, this is the best plan we've got."
"If you two don't want to find out if it's Malfoy, I'll go in hand in the book now," Hermione said, her face flushed.
"I never thought I'd see the day when Hermione'd be persuading us to break rules," Ron said. "All right, we'll do it."
"How long will it take?" Cassia said. "The potion, I mean."
"Well, since the fluxweed has got to be picked at the full moon and the lacewings have got to stewed for twenty-one days...I'd say it'd be ready in about a month if we can get all the ingredients."
"A month?" Ron said.
"Best plan we've got," Cassia repeated quickly.
Hermione started checking that the coast was clear for them to leave the bathroom, and Cassia leaned toward Harry.
"It'd be much easier if you can just knock Malfoy off his broom tomorrow, though."

The following Saturday was the Quidditch match. Cassia woke up early, shaken awake by Hermione.
"Herm, it's Saturday."
"The match is today!"
"I realize," Cassia said, propping herself up and yawning.
About fifteen minutes before eleven, the quartet made their way to the Quidditch pitch, Harry's nerves apparent to Cassia.
It was a muggy, dark day. There was a bit of thunder echoing about them.
"Hey, Harry," Cassia said as they reached the door to the locker rooms. Ron and Hermione walked ahead towards the stands. "Don't die."
"I'll try," he smiled.
She stepped forward, pulling him into a quick hug.
"You'll do great," she said, pulling away.
