"I guess there is no one to blame
We're leaving ground (leaving ground)
Will things ever be the same again?
It's the final countdown"Tommy walked out of the Fair Mart with Carol, walking over to where Steve was sitting on the trunk of the car. He handed him a bottle of pills along with a can of soda. "Hey. You owe me a $1.20." Tommy told him as Steve popped a few pills.
"Don't worry, he'll need more than aspirin when we're done with him." Tommy said.
"Yeah, if the creep ever gets out." Carol scoffed slightly. "The cops should just lock him up forever. Did you see the look on his face?" Carol asked Tommy while Steve let out a groan.
"He probably has the same look whenever he killed his brother, right?" Tommy asked, giving Steve's arm a pat.
"Oh, God, I just got an image of him making that face while him and Nancy are screwing." Carol said, laughing.
"Carol, for once in your life listen to what Tony told you and shut your damn mouth!" Steve yelled at her.
"What?" Carol gave him a shock expression.
"Hey, what's your problem, man?" Tommy asked, getting angry. "And Anthony is not our friend anymore. He hangs with that freak." Tommy looked at Steve.
"You're both assholes. That's my problem." Steve hopes off the car, shoving Tommy.
"Are you serious right now, man?" Tommy took a step back.
"Yeah, I'm serious. You shouldn't have done that and Tony is still my best friend asshole." Steve hissed.
"Done what?"
"You know what."
"You mean call her out for what she really is?" Tommy got in Steve's face. "Oh, that's funny, because I don't remember you asking me to stop."
"I should've put that spray paint right down your throat. I should've listened to Tony when he said you were bad news." Steve said honestly.
"What the hell Steve?" Carol asked.
"You know, neither of you ever cared about her. You never even liked her, because she's not miserable like you two." Steve shook his head as he let out a short laugh. "And you don't give one single shit about Tony either. You never helped find Tori, you spread some of those rumors around about how she died. Even when you came to her funeral You. Didn't. Care." Steve gave Carol a look.
"The slut with a heart of gold and the camera girl who got herself killed." Carol leaned forward and Steve pointed harshly at Carol. "I told you to shut your mouth!"
"Hey!" Tommy pushed Steve against the car. "I don't know what's gotten into you, man, but you don't talk to her that way."
"Get out of my face." Steve pushed him back but Tommy was quick to grab onto Steve's shirt. "Or what? Or what? You gonna fight me now, too, huh? Because you couldn't take Jonathan Byers...so I wouldn't recommend that."
