7. Hired

Eda's POV

"Congratulations Eda , you are hired ." Ferit  bey announces bringing me out of my daze .

After Serkan bey walked out of the conference room , all the conversation happened in a blur .

"Thankyou so much Ferit bey ." I say and shake his hand confidently .

I am surprised that that robot did not interfere in this interview . Well I'm glad .

He is Serkan Bolat . I have always admired his work all my life while I was studying in Italy . And I did not look up his picture ?

Uff ya Eda , you can be such an idiot sometimes . The entire time while he was looking at my CV I felt as if he can sense beyond all my facade of living a normal life .

My life is anything but normal but I don't need anyone to know that specially not him .

And when he asked me why I didn't intern in Italy I almost let my tongue spill out the truth as his eyes were scrutinizing me in telling the truth .

So I brushed it off saying it was personal and it really is . Aside from hala , Melo , Çeren, Fifi and my babanne no one knows about it .

I miss her . It's been two years since I last saw her . She has always been my safe place but God knows where she is right now .

Anyways I did not expect Robot to be Serkan Bolat . He is too cold hearted , robotic and arrogant asshole for his good .

"Congratulations Eda , I'm glad to have you on our team . And so is Serkan. " Engin says with a wink and has a devilish glint in his eyes making my eyes widen and choke on my breath.

I manage to hold myself from blurting anything out that would ruin my chances of a potential friendship .

"Tesşekkür ederim Engin bey . I hope we get along well ama why would Serkan bey be glad ?"

He looks at me with an impressed glance and his lips quirk in a small smile . It's as if he did not expect me to talk to him about Serkan bey . But not calling out on people's underlining tone is just not me . And I don't plan on changing that .

"You are talented Eda hanim and an asset to Bolat Enterprises of course Serkan would be glad to have you around . Why else ?" He replies with his obvious wit .

"Evet you are right Engin bey . And please call me Eda ." I say with a small smile playing on my lips .

"Only if you call me Engin ." He says and I realise that we are going to get along just fine and become friends soon .

"Tamam Engin."

"Now Eda let's introduce you to my assistant. " He direct his hand toward the door ushering me toward the open layout cubicles .

"Engin , can we talk for a minute ?" Pyril asks .

"Evet aşkim , Eda will you wait here ? Ferit will show you around ."

"Yes , I'll wait for Ferit bey here ."

The couple gives me a small smile before walking out of the conference room .

I glance towards the windows and am mesmerized by the view . I hear clearing of throat bringing me out of my thoughts which tend to wander a lot these days .

And suddenly the air has an electric spark in it giving me goosebumps from the proximity of the man as I realize is robot .

I feel him walking closer to me and stopping right behind me . I can feel his breath on my neck , hot , warm making my insides turn mushy and my legs wobble .I have known this man for like a couple of days and the hold he has on me is scary . And to say I'm dating Cenk .
