I fell on a pretty hard floor. I always used the person I was traveling with's body to not hit the floor. No, I don't feel bad.
Anyways, it seems this place used to be a sort of waterfall? This place has quite the scenery. I wish I could stay here for a bit longer but I have a job to do.

A gentle gust of wind went through my hair as I walk away from the cascade.
I walk around the fields not knowing what to do in this world, As I was walking around I spot a forest with a type of barrier surrounding it. Weird, only the kingdoms had some sort of barrier protecting it. I kinda wished the dumb-faced knight was here to do it for me but, since they're not here, I'll have to do it all myself.
I found the entrance to that forest and went in. It looks pretty normal so far. I walked around and found a few berries scattered here that might be useful for the journey. It's a bit confusing since I know nothing about this world. But hey, I can always make em good as new with my sage powers! I thought confidentially, still preparing for any monsters.

A video game-like screen appeared, displaying what seems to be the name and level of the crea- Pidgey. Odd name but okay.
I hit it with the sage bead and it just faints. Just like that.
Uh, I'll just leave you there I guess? I thought to myself, walking away from the now fainted Pidgey.
I kept encountering more pokemon, of course, they all get knocked out until I reach the deeper sides of the forest.
There were far more monsters, a few even attacked in groups, but they were again easily taken down by my sage bead.
I walked even deeper and found the sort of next-level, higher-level pokemon appear. They're a tiny bit of a challenge now. But they still fell after a few hits.
Jeez, how big is this place? I wondered. Right after I think that I see something in the distance.
A lizard-looking pokemon and a Vulpix? The Vulpix seemed to be buying some pink berries. A shop? Why is there a shop here?
Out of pure curiosity and boredom, I decided to get closer.
"Hey there!" I greeted nicely
I startled the Vulpix a bit, They turned around and looked at me in shock.
"Woah..." The Vulpix gazed in awe
They looked at me like I was some kind of rare gem, Kinda creepy though.
"Er... Hi..?" I awkwardly greeted again
"O-oh! I-im sorry! Where are my manners? M-my name is Felix!" They stuttered
Ok, for real though, are they scared because the rumors made me sound bad?
"Well, I there Felix, my name is Nari" I introduced myself politely
They just stood there, admiring my presence.
This feels kinda awkward, I'll try to change the subject.
"Wow! An actual fox sage!! I feel so honored to meet you!!" Felix exclaimed in awe
"Oh, and by the way, my pronouns are he/him, if you didn't know, Who am I kidding, that was probably very obvious!"
"You're quite the talkative one, aren't you?" I pointed out
"S-sorry I'm a blabbermouth." He said, apologizing
A male Vulpix? interesting... He might be helpful for my journey, but I think I should do the journey alone.
"Well, it was nice meeting you, Felix." I waved slowly walking away
"Wait... You're leaving... right now?" Felix whimpered
"Are you sure you wanna come with me? I'm on a journey, it's a bit dangerous for you, your too young to go on journeys, right?" I said unsure
"What? No! I'm old enough to go on journeys! y-you just don't see it." He re-assured me
"So, can I come with you? Please?"
He's giving me the baby-doll eyes, I'm not sure about him going with me. But, should I? Hmm. I don't know... Man, Now I feel how dumb-faced knight feels. I'll just think about it, I hope he'll give me some time.
"I'll think about it, Felix. I just need some time to think." I explained, hoping he'll give me time
"Oh, okay then, I'll just wait here... alone" He quietly understood
Am I supposed to feel bad for him? He looked sad when I told him I needed some time to think.

I hit the Butterfree with my sage bead and continued while I was deciding on whether Felix should go with me or not.
It's a pretty tricky decision since I don't know whether he's allowed to go on journeys or not. But, I guess maybe taking him with me won't hurt, right?
