(Pt.2) Offshoot. ALTERNATE UNIVERSE 3: The Descendant of the Dragon (part 2)

Disguised in a dark cloak and commoner's clothing, the two princes managed to reach the brothel without suspicion. They both had visited the brothel numerous of times in the past but tonight, something appears to be different about the brothel. One of the most prominent difference would be the temperature of the brothel. It is unnaturally cold despite of it supposedly being a warm summer night. A woman in her late 40s greeted them. She is the owner of the brothel and the customers are normally greeted by her. But something is off about her tonight. Her expression appears to be stiff. There seems to not be any emotions in her eyes. CJ, AC and two other men are the only customers for the night.

"Welcome, welcome, young master, please have a seat. Allow us to entertain you with a performance," she greeted in her usual cheery voice but her expression is still as unnatural as ever.

The princes exchange looks with one another as if both of them are agreeing on the fact that 'yes, something is definitely not right about this place'. They had both sense danger from the situation. They take their seats at the table designated for them along with the other two customers. From the looks in their eyes, it's as if the other two guys also find it uncomfortable to be there.

As soon as they are seated, the surroundings went dim and only the stage is bathe in lights. In the center of the stage, a masked man wearing all white started to play the strings of the zither, singing a haunting melody as female dancers with near-naked outfits are surrounding him. ~Smothering you with the palms of my hands. Keeping you close, our rhythmic pace. There's no mistake, holding you like sand. There's no escape from that looks on your face.~

The princes and the two men at the table are hypnotized by the voice of the singing man that they can no longer take their eyes off of the stage.

~I know I'm not sane and I know I'm not kind. I know you're insane just to want to be mine. I know we're not meant to ever cross the line. As long as we kill then we know we'll be fine.~

This had caused them not to notice that there are people beginning to take seat at the other previous empty tables. They were all the prostitutes of the brothel and they were not looking at the stage.

~Blood, blood, dance in the blood, blood. Lust, lust, kiss me blood, blood red. Blood, blood, we want blood, blood, blood. Touch me, locked me out of sanity.~

They all have a strange permanent smile of their faces and were staring at the four men as if the ones performing are them instead of the singing man or the dancing women on the stage.

~Don't you agree? we look good in red. Let's make a deal and seal this trust. I know we're not sane and I know we don't mind. I know that we looked and adore what we find. I know we're not here just to cross out this line. As long as we hurt then we know we're just fine. ~

The man suddenly stopped singing. The women also stopped dancing. The two princes and the two men remain seated in their seats unable to move. Despite of them already noticing the crowd and the obvious malign nature of the people there, they couldn't move and they couldn't utter a single word.

The masked man in white walks slowly towards them in a graceful manner. When he reaches their table, he takes off his mask, revealing his fair skin, bright doll-like blue eyes and thin lips pursed into a smile. He looks almost unreal and his beauty is exceptional. CJ and AC, despite of them being unable to move, both couldn't help but admire the beauty right in front of them. "Your Highness of the Sea and Your Highness of the Sky, I have been waiting for you to come," the beauty spoke in a soft voice. There's a hint of evil and charm in his soft-spoken voice. For the first time in their life, both princes have the ridiculous thought that it's okay to die in the hands of such beauty. The beauty's smile widens as he says; "Let's have some 'fun', shall we?"
