THE COUPLE HAD A GOOD night's sleep and woke up more energized than the day before -they were pretty excited as The King and Queen will arrive today, they couldn't contain their emotions of not seeing their son-in-law. Hence, the enthroning will be in a few days. Well, not until breakfast came. "Mew, I don't feel too good." He massaged his temples with his eyes closed. He pushed the food away and leaned back on the comfy chair. The others had stopped eating and put down their utensils; quite troubled with what His Noble Highness had expressed. They took a good look at him to realize He was growing paler and paler, lips turning a tinge of blue as his nose scrunched.
"You shouldn't go to university, today. You look sick." Mew sighed as finished eating his congee before taking Gulf's body into his tight grasp -squeezing him as He realized that the figure was also turning cold. He used his warmth to warm him up, as according to a scientific fact, Alphas generate more warmth throughout their bodies than the other two genders. "Are you... okay?" Gulf's lips formed a little frown and shook his head.
Mew knew He didn't wanna eat anymore.. but earlier, He was so happy. But now, his slender body leaned over him weakly. He slowly lifted the boy and brought him inside their bedroom. They dined in his private bar since Mew didn't want to scare his poor workers He had lashed out a few weeks ago. Gulf didn't even fight back like usual, He just snuggled to his chest more with his eyes shut. He slowly laid the latter down on their bed, getting a bit anxious about the boy's condition. "I'll get the Royal Physician."
He was about to leave when the boy held his wrist; restraining him from leaving. He only uttered weakly, "No... I'll be fine, Mew. It's probably because of stress, don't overreact." The Royal Prince couldn't do anything but just abide by his wifey's commands. "Go with the others, I'll be fine. I would just roam around or hang out in Boom's café, or Mild's place. Don't worry about me, I can take care of myself." Mew unwillingly agreed. He couldn't do anything to upset Gulf, especially now.
"Will you be fine on your own?" He nodded. "Just stay near the palace or any places you mentioned. I don't want to worry, you're sickly at the moment." He nodded again.
"Just scent me, please." Mew took him in his arms and rubbed his nose on Gulf's scent gland and gave a little kiss to his earlobe. He let out an audible breath and a tired whimper. He felt so safe in Mew's arms, but He couldn't be that selfish to plead for Mew to stay beside him and not go to class, He wasn't that kind of person. He could only enjoy the time He had in his embrace before Mew eventually has to let go later on to prepare for Uni.
"Baby?" He only answered a quiet hum. "You smell... different. Not bad, just a bit different. Your scent is so good." He narrated. Mew kept sniffing him and asked him why He was smelling a little more fragrant today. He just shook It off and let Mew do what He wants. He likes It.
"Love you, Mew. Don't ever leave me." Mew kissed his lips and gave a soft smile as He too, said It back.
