Him

Badr heaved a deep breath of relief when he saw AbdulWadood standing on the other side of the road.

He moved a hand in his wet hair to move away the wet hair that was stuck to his forehead so he could see easily.

He was drenching, literally, but so was his best friend. And he knew he wouldn't leave him alone.
At least not anymore.
It wasn't his fault in the first end, too, he ran to save his life. And to keep the risk at bay.

But now that the risk was not there anymore -- at least less than before --he was going to make it up. With that thought, he walked towards AbdulWadood who looked like he was in a deep conversation with a man, and with the frown on his forehead it was clear that he wasn't getting the answers he wanted.

Badr stopped in his tracks and stood there for few minutes observing AbdulWadood.

It looked like AbdulWadood was trying to solve a mystery, he was investigating almost all the people who were there at that side of the road. He was scanning almost every inch of the road, and the look in his eyes stated that he was looking for something that was very important to him.

Badr could also tell by the heavy breaths that AbdulWadood had been on his foot for a long time. But even with his profoundly wet state and the way AbdulWadood was moving his foot, in the way a person do when their feet are aching; Badr could tell that AbdulWadood wouldn't give up.

Again so many questions wandered in Badr's mind, what was it that made AbdulWadood so determined? Why was it important to him?
Does it anyway relate to that matter?

The last question made him panic and he almost ran towards AbdulWadood. He had made up his mind, that he was going to respect his privacy and at the same time make sure that it wasn't related to those matters.

AbdulWadood was surprised when he saw Badr rushing to him, he politely dismissed the conversation he was having with a lady. All the time keeping his gaze low, even though the lady was close to eighty.
But his morals were strict, and he knew he wanted to be as much loyal as he could to his Allah and his soulmate.

"I don't know about that, dear", AbdulWadood could hear sincerety in her voice, "if I had known I would have told you_"

Then as if she realized something, she paused and then said almost too loudly.

"I know! I know!"

It made AbdulWadood happy and he began more attentive in what she was saying.

"I mean I don't know, but I know someone who knows. His house is under the premises of this colony. He is an owner of a very famous Architecture firm. I have heard he has two sons and a daughter but haven't met them yet."

"What does he know?", AbdulWadood spoke in an impatient voice.

"He was at their home a day before they left. I heard that they were best friends. And he was even there on the next day, he waited outside for a long time until he found something and he left. My neighbor told me that it looked like he founed some paper. I don't know about it much. But you can ask to him. His name is Mr.Ad_"
