Argus Sea Battle

Y/N POV

Cordo: "Do you honestly think you could fool me?"

Cordo fires her cannon and the bottom of the airship gets hit by a lightning blast. The airship gets coated in lightning and crash lands. 

Cordo: "Very smart, but even the smartest apes stand no chance against the sheer intelligence of man."

I run to the ship and see Ruby come stumbling out. The robot aims its cannon at Ruby but I activate my light and dive into the cannon. 

Cordo: "What're you doing!?!"

A lightning round charges up but I summon my gun and fire. The cannon blows up and the lightning Dust courses through my body. I scream in pain as my insides feel like they're burning. I am eventually launched out of the cannon and lose consciousness.

3rd POV

Y/N flies out of the cannon and lands next to the others.

Everyone: "Y/N!!"

They run to him to see light smoke coming off of him. Ruby places her ear on his heart and sighs hearing a heartbeat.

Ruby: "He's okay, he's just unconscious. Let's get him out of here."

Qrow and Ruby throw Y/N's arms around them and pick him up. As they do Cordo screams from inside the colossus.

Cordo: "You're never getting to Atlas! Do you hear me!? Never!"

Suddenly a loud crash is heard and sirens blare. The heroes look and see a giant Leviathan emerging from the ocean. 

Maria: "Let's go."

The heroes load up into the airship and head for Argus. While they fly Ruby recalls Y/N into his ring so he can rest. 

Maria: "Suppose I have to say it, this is our best chance at leaving Argus."

Weiss: "No way. We can't leave, not like this."

Blake: "We're Huntsmen and Huntresses, we're supposed to protect people until the very end."

Ruby: "We need to get closer to the Leviathan. Jaune, can you be ready to help Ren mask the ship?"

Ren: "We'll manage."

While the heroes get close to the Leviathan it fires a beam which takes out a shield generator taking the whole thing out.

Radio: "All forces disengage Leviathan. I report, disengage Leviathan."

Ruby: "No wait! We can stop it."

Radio: "Who is this?"

Ruby: "My name is Ruby Rose and my team and I can help you take down the Leviathan."

Jaune: "We can?"

Ruby: "I can."

Radio: "You're marked as hostile. You'll receive no help."

Ruby: "That's fine, we'll do it ourselves. Ren, you ready?"

Ren nods and with Jaune's help masks the airship. Once they get within range of the Leviathan Ruby hops onto the back of the ice Queen Lancer and rides it in front of the Leviathan. Ruby closes her eyes and concentrates on using her eyes. However bad memories flood her mind and she loses concentration. The Leviathan roars at her when Ruby mindlessly says Jinn's name.

Ruby: "I'm sorry, I don't have a question for you. I just needed more time."

Jinn: "I know. And while you don't seek knowledge, just this once, I'll give it freely. I won't allow you to use me without a question again. Even if it was clever."

Ruby nods her head and refocuses on using her eyes. This time it works because they shine and the Leviathan turns to stone. Ruby and the others celebrate when the Leviathan's head unpetrifies and roars. Thankfully Cordo comes in and rams the colossus' drill into the Leviathan's chest killing it. Ruby gets back inside the airship as it heads to Atlas. After a few seconds of silence a voice is heard.

Y/N: *through ring* "What'd I miss?"

Ruby: "Y/N!! You're okay!!!"

Y/N: "Yeah."

Ruby: "What happened? I thought you couldn't be injured."

Y/N: "I normally can't, but I guess lightning is one thing that has an effect on me."

Ruby: "Either way, I'm glad you're back."

Y/N: "Glad to be back."
