Y/N POV

After getting a new set of clothes and equipment we load up onto an airship and head to the Schnee Dust mine.

Clover: "All right, gather around. Our mission today is to secure the launch site for the Amity communications tower. The designated area is an abandoned dust mine. Since its closure, the Grimm have moved in. The good news is all that untouched dust is still down there too. Science teams says that they'll need it for the first phase of their launch. Atlas military huntsmen are already hard at work clearing out the surrounding tundra. But recon has identified a powerful Geist that's managed to evade destruction and take several lives. After we increased our numbers, the Geist was smart enough to retreat into the mine itself, meaning its old and extremely dangerous. The mine was a labyrinth back in its day. There's all sorts of tunnels and chambers the Geist can move between, so if we're gonna kill this thing, we'll have to split up and corner it. General Ironwood says you've seen your fair share of combat. I trust that man with my life, so tomorrow, I'll be trusting you all to. Let's make this happen people."

We hop out of the airship and free fall towards the mine. Ruby fires Crescent Rose and lands us safely on the ground.

Clover: *on earpiece* "This is Alpha Squad. Area's clear, continuing on foot. You've all got fancy new scrolls. Be sure to keep your eyes and ear open. I want any update should you encounter the target. Alpha out."

Ruby: "It's freezing out here."

Weiss: "Without any of the heating or projected Aura the cold of Solitas can kill you in only a few hours."

Blake: "I now don't feel so bad leaving Oscar behind."

Yang: "Speaking of, aren't we going to mention that?"

Ruby: "What uh... what about it?"

Yang: "Why'd you lie to Ironwood?"

Y/N: *through ring* "Because I told her to."

Yang: "But why?"

Y/N: "There's something about Ironwood that isn't sitting right with me. He's being driven by fear. If we were to tell him that Salem can't be killed than there's no telling what that'll do to his already bad mental state. So for the safety of everyone, we're going to keep quiet."

Blake: "It feels wrong."

Y/N: "I know it does but you have to trust me. I've lived long enough to know you never squander the hope from a person already on edge. It'll push them over the edge and make them do something destructive."

Harriet: "Hey, you kids coming or not?"

Ruby: "Yeah."

We walk into the mine until we come across a group of rocks blocking our path.

Marrow: "Now what?"

Harriet: "There's a small opening but it's too dark to see."

Blake: "I can help."

Blake squeezes into the opening and disappears from sight. We soon hear gunfire which makes Harriet coat her arms and punch the rocks out of our way. We run past the opening and through the tunnel until we arrive at the heart of the mine. We look around until we see the Geist drop from the ceiling using an ice version of a Petra Gigas.

The Ace-Ops spring forward and begin taking down the ice Geist. Elm grabs the left leg and roots her feet. This allows Vine to grab the right arm and pull it exposing its soft spots. Marrow throws his boomerang taking out the right arm. The Geist tries to crush Harriet but she runs out of the way while Elm slams her hammer on the arm pinning it down.

Marrow tosses his boomerang again and destroys the other arm. Clover jumps into the fray and warps his fishing hook around the Geist's mask. He then yanks pulling it out of the boulder. Harriet runs forward and uppercuts the Geist killing it. The body breaks apart and Dust crystals go flying. Ruby and Harriet both spot a piece go flying with both of them using their semblances but Ruby reaches it first and catches it.

Clover: *to earpiece* "Atlas control, Clover here. Mission accomplished. Ready for extraction."

We exit the mine and look forward to see trucks driving to us.
